  • Hello, Creative People!
    Today I will show you how I make rings for Etsy shop.
    This time of year for some reason I am filled with ring orders, so I thought if it is so popular You might want to see how I make it.
    It is very easy and very simple to do, but first, you will need to invest in some tools. Unlike the clay tutorial I do, with resin You will need silicone mold, UV resin, or epoxy resin, depending on how much time do you have, as UV resin can be ready to wear in less than one hour from the start. You also will need sanding paper and a UV light or a good sunny day, yes yes, sun cures UV resin, just allow some more time.
    So if all boxes are ticked now we can begin!
    Please don't forget to subscribe to my channel as it would help me grow so much, also you won't miss new jewelry making tutorials :)

    What do you do if you need to retouch a side? I work with regular resin, not UV, so even if I carefully paint one side, some of the resin drops along to the bottom or to the other side. Maybe nail polish?

    • @MonikaDoodle
      @MonikaDoodle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      oh I really cannot tell what to do because every case is different, but I cannot stress this enough - do not use nail polish on resin EVER. It will only look good for a short period of time and will get ugly within weeks ;/ hope this helps ;)

    • @MonikaDoodle
      @MonikaDoodle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank You for watching 😊 no I don't use paste or anything like that. I tried but that seemed more messy for me than just leaving it as it is😊 can you recommend a good paste to try?😎

    • @MonikaDoodle
      @MonikaDoodle  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thegarciafamily9433 that's the thing with resin. It's either You mixing wrong proportion, or the resin is bad. I had that experience when I started, changed resin and it worked wonders! ;)

    Do you just put resin on the ring to gloss it without the hardener?

    • @MonikaDoodle

      It is uv resin. It hardens under the uv light, or just sun, just takes longer🙂

    Hi, I have a question, do the ring templates have any finger sizes?

    • @MonikaDoodle
      @MonikaDoodle  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know that... When I bought my molds I checked the sizing in product description, so it would fit at least my fingers😁😁😁 and happens to be that my finger size is very average 🤣
      If I understood your question correctly, I don't know if you can order custom size molds, but you can make them pouring your own silicon molds✌️🤗

    • @MonikaDoodle
      @MonikaDoodle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, I am not sure what lines but maybe there is lines in the mold you using? However, if you think it is the uv light to blame try to leave your resin rings in the sun for good couple hours instead of using uv light, and see if the lines happen this way✌️🙂🙂

      Well, I don't use it all the time, unless I do a lot, however, it is up to you to decide, sure protection won't hurt at any point, but also check the resin you work with, some of them are toxic before cured, some of them not☺️
