I can’t get enough of Koenigsegg videos. It doesn’t matter if it is because of horsepower, torque, revolutionary gearbox four seats mega car or someone that has experienced many other Koengsegg’s before that ”only” experience the new model. It is like seeing the first video of McLaren F1 for the first time when it was pre-sale. It is so amazing I don’t know if I am more impressed for the fact the car’s excist or jealous that I most likely never will drive one, not to mention own. Please make more for us that never will have the pleasure. Koenigsegg is the most sexy car to own right now. I know that LaFerrari look’s more classic to us that has grown up with the Enzo on posters on our walls. That there are other car’s that seem to be even more extrodirnary when it comes to looks and engine. But the body, engine(s), gearbox, tires, rims and technology put together no other car or brand comes close. If I ever can afford to buy any mega car I will not settle for anything but a Koenigsegg. If it isn’t a Koenigsegg I could just as well buy a Tesla.
Epic video! This to me is the most beautiful machine, i've ever seen. No joke. The design and machinery are out of this world. The first time you see the car's straight line acceleration and speedometer the 100 - 200 time is around 4 seconds. The second time after the drift (you have to go by ear at first) 100 - 200 is even quicker. 4 or under 4 seconds is crazy fast - and if you take into account, that with shortshifting and 550 bhp less (that's nearly 1/3 of 1600 bhp) they are at least 30% short of the cars potential, that's mind boggling. Thank you so much for sharing!
Dear heavens, that transmission!!! Just absolutely breathtaking. I am old enough to remember when I got my first car with a 5 speed transmission and thought that was the epoch of transmissions. My, how very wrong I was. Thank you James.
Wow I can actually hear it in your voice - what a machine! thank you James for this video. 11 min Goosebumps! I soak up every Koenigsegg video like a sponge. But it must be many times more beautiful in real life.
Well thanks for those shots of the speedometer. I can now say that based on the gear ratios and a reasonable assumption of the final drive, the top speeds in each gear are : Gear No - Vmax (kmph) 1st - 77.4 2nd - 100.08 3rd - 127.08 4th - 162.36 5th - 210.24 6th - 266.4 7th - 338.4 8th - 438.48 9th - 555.84 It makes sense considering you'd want great 0-60 mph, 0-100 mph, 0-125 mph (200 kmph) and a top speed possibly exceeding 533 kmph (in Nevada in the 10% thinner air it could reach 550 kmph on the downhill run). This matches well with the speeds and rpms shown in the speedo.
The first 6 gears are really close to each other not because it helps with acceleration, but because the ratios of the first 6 gears reflect the ratios of the last 3 gears, which are the most important. you see, the Jesko's 9-speed transmission is really two 3-speed transmissions, one feeding into another. For each gear in the first transmission, there are 3 possible positions for the second transmission to be in, hence 3 x 3 = 9 speeds. That means that the gear ratios for gears 4, 5 and 6 are really just a compressed version of ratios for gears 7, 8 and 9. Gear ratios 1, 2, and 3 are an even more compressed version of gear ratios 7 8 and 9. But that compression means that the _difference_ in gear ratio between the first gears are also compressed compared to the difference in gear ratio between 7, 8 and 9, hence the very quick shifting at low speeds to keep up with all the gears. The Jesko is RWD, so being at high RPM at low speeds doesn't really make a difference in acceleration, because it's struggling for traction anyways.
@@beanapprentice1687es when you compound gears like this every 3 gears will be exactly the same relative distance apart. But having 9 speeds means the spread is crazy. First few gears are very close. The last 3 are considerably separated. With 1600 horses max, they could probably launch off in 3rd and lose no time. The Jesko accelerates so quick it came close to the Regera's numbers and actually beat the Holy Trinity at full tilt on part throttle. Not even trying. It will be insane.

What I'm trying to wrap my head around what Christian said about the transmission, he said 3 clutches by 3 clutches then says it's a 6 speed compounded by clutches, wouldn't that be essentially same as an 18-spd bicycle then? Or is it akin to a CVT, that there's actually 9 selected gears, but computer decides if it's 3rd clutch, 4th cog for 6th or 2nd clutch by 6th cog for 6th??? So 18 variables but they're all duplicated 9 speeds??? I'm so lost by what he said, and in CSR2 it sucks big time LOL 😆 It's like a 2 spd auto or something sprinting 1/2 mile, and zero fun at all.

@@hugo-pg5tv being luxurious is the reason.. look at Rolls Royce. You can get same powered car at fourth of the price. But luxury... Nope
@@rajgami8893 Koenigsegg and no luxary doesn't go together and u know it. The gemera is 1000% more luxarious then any bugatti same with the regera.
i hope more than the 125 are made would love the possibility of owning one.........absolut dream car.
thanks for the video Mr. JWW, genuinely made my day
Good Koenigsegg videos feel elusive, like a rare piece of art. This is precisely that!

All I can come up with to create a comment is, WOW! The man and his team a geniuses.
THIS is what dreams are made of. This is what Supercars used to be back in the 2000s. They set the bar!!
Now Koenigsegg & their Hypercars do that =)
james its so nice to see factory and test track in sweden and mr koenigsegg amazing video driving the jesko absolut.
I can't think of a single other car rn that makes me emotional from how good it is I actually have to stop myself crying because it's just so good.
I feel the same, it's a marvel of engineering. Also the other model they are making with a manual gearbox that is also an automatic is also very cool and something I would like to experience.
I’m with you bro!
Awesome stuff as always James! Was nice seeing you again! 😄
I can't wait to see what spec you've chosen on you Gemera. I REALLY hope that your channel grows even more and that all of your businesses are doing so well that you will be able to own one of these as well some day. They sort of suit you. Absolutely awesome man! Love the background commentary as well, keep up the great work!
I love the fact that it's in Super Sport colors...
Insane how it reached 250+ on the runway so effortlessly, cant wait to see what it does on the Nevada Highway!
kph
Kph
Can’t be, it has a 9 speed transmission, can’t be reaching 250kph in 8th gear if they plan on breaking any record
@@manuelayala6590 He was short shifting. It was in kmh whether you like it or not.
pretty sure that was mph
I love koenigsegg, truely innovating and pushing the limits and just making the best cars possible. So cool!
In my top 3 favorite hypercars of all time.... absolute masterpiece
"Take it from me," a professional media specialist sales man that has a stake in the company.
Still a weapon
Koenigsegg is at the top of its game. Christian is a true innovator, a man with a technical vision of what is possible and has the courage to realize all while remaining a very nice guys, civil, humble, and unassuming.

James your videos are very good and, very well produced. Great video!!
What an absolutely stunningly performance off a car.... WOW JUST WOW..... nice one for showing it to us....❤
The only flaw in this car is....the speedometer isn't stationery
This is the absolut pinnacle of combustion Engine cars. Everything from the tech , quality of material, sound , grip and looks is a 10/10 what a masterpiece of car
So it's a Swedish car manufacturing company brand, Koenigsegg
I’ve always loved koenigsegg cars since the beginning I think the are art pieces that are beautiful to look at but also at the top of performance!! I love Christian’s story on how he got his start and really just everything about this company makes these my absolute favorite hyper cars!! Well done on being at the forefront of technology for these masterpieces!!
buying one of these tommorow for my soon, decent first car i guess
Yes this video sold me. Im gonna pick one up instead of a coralla
This is an unbelievable machine, Koenigsegg is hypercar dynasty
Amazing engineering and beautiful as well. The transmission is so unique and next level.
I wish to see It's Top speed run test, wish to see the 332 mph!!! Thanks James for showing us the best review (with Marvelous music and Cinematic shot) of this CAR ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍
The Godzilla killer.this is it
A really fast car that you will never see anywhere.
Absolutely EPIC car, I can't wait to see it make a top speed run.
Same it's gonna be wild 🔥
What a car, well done mr jww thrse are the best videos the ones where you can hear the passion in your voice
Truely an engineering marvel! Well done Team Koenigsegg 🔥 🔥 🔥
In roblox we call them konegg absolute 💯
MR JWW Absolutely Incredible Video I'm so glad you got a chance to experience that Jesko Absolute and I think it's absolutey insane that it so much grip with Cold tires and I can't wait to see how crazy the Jesko Attack is
Christian is the most amazing car genius there is!
Not "only" that but the Gemera and the Jesko Absolut are the most beautiful Koenigsegg cars ever made so far!
That gearbox is genius! I wonder what those gears are made of..
These are IMHO the ultimate sleds available on this planet, the 4 passenger car is just as sick as the Jesko
This is absolut vansinnigt as the Swedes would say. It means completely bonkers. Thankyou for this video mr JWW
Nästa bil från koenigsegg lär ju heta "vansinne"
@@viktorjohansson86 eller hur! Vi får hoppas nåt sånt kommer 😉

@@MrJWW W man thanks a lot for this amazing video
INSANE!!!! 250MPH like 0-60 kmh holly shit absolutely much butter then ragera
The way it shifts is batshit crazy 🥶
Oh my, oh my! This car freaks me out. This version is only about 1000 hp, not fully developed yet, and see what it can do! Can you imagine the full scale version with extra 600 hp.........?? The law of physics are being bent by this magnificent company!
the speed of those shifts😍😍😍😍
And that isn’t maximum setup either!
Clint Eastwood said it in Firefox. “Boy, is this a machine”.
It looks spectacular.
This is Engineering at its finest ❤
Christian is a magician. Epic car.
Thank you for sharing this with us 👍👍👍👍
No car get me as excited as this one.
Thank you for filming this Mr JWW
Oh snap that transmission works like a Lenco.... wow that's actually one of the coolest things ever! Being clutch based instead of shift based it can "bend" ratios in any way it wants to keep the car in the max powerband all the time. Thats only something you usually see on pro-mod dragsters!
Nothing like a Lenco, at all.
@@jonasthemovie can you explain please
@@charliecole624 A Lenco is a sprag oneway clutch with a planetary overdrive activated by a brake, repeated in stages. Koenigsegg are using multiple clutches to combine gearing ratios. Nothing alike.
The front of the jesko could have been a bit better but the back of it looks so beastly can’t wait for this cars top speed run
Incoming!
@@MrJWW 😁💯💯
@@MrJWW YOU MEAN THE TOP SPEED RUN ?!?!?!?!?!?😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
@@hamzaashraf1014yeahh, you can see protect bar inside car, i think they will test record
the front is optimized for aero and top speed, it could've been Koenigsegg'd (like very small vertical headlights and bigger grill) but it is their flagship car, besides the gemera
2:02 Crazy to see the car outline match the Koenigsegg logo !
Well isn't this better than watching endless Ferrari suv videos 😂
finally I have been waiting for a video like this, hell yeah
