- Shows my installation of the Stillwell Atlas 12k hydraulic jack on my dump trailer. I believe it is the best way to go for a dump trailer that you already have the hydraulics to support a hydraulic jack.

Haha, same here. I don't want to be standing there in 100 degree or - 10 degree weather cranking a jack.
Now add a wireless remote and it would be super super cool
I did add wireless remotes to both of my dump trailers, definitely worth having.

@@craigfuller6187 i have a KTI KWR-003 Wireless Remote, but if your research here on youtube there are much cheaper ways of doing it.

How much did this set up cost you?… I have to dump trailers and I think this is a really cool addition.
Can't say what it is now, you'll need to go to their site or give them a call. I believe at the time it was cheaper going direct to them.

I have an H&H trailer I bought 2008 it’s tilt bed and already has a hydraulic pump and reservoir but does not have a hydraulic jack like yours it was manual and it’s a pain in the ass. So after watching your video I really just need that switch that goes from the pump to the trailer and then turn the switch to the jack to lift the entire trailer right because that’s what you put on OK so I’m asking is do I need to buy another pump set up or can I just use mine and just add the switch
You can use your pump, then you'll need the switch, hoses and a hydraulic tongue jack

I was thinking install this hydraulic Jack for my trailer.
Just wondering after you did all the hoses connections , did you just test it ? Even though new hoses doesn’t have hydraulic fluid.
How this work?
Please let me know.
After the install, fill the hydraulic oil reservoir back up because you'll lose some when you remove the old hoses. No bleeding necessary, just run it.

Working great, no issues. Was spreading manure last two days with it.
@@elkbow thank you. Looking into brands. Building my Diamond c and their option was “lippert”. Spoke to an agent there and he said there were too many problems with Stilwell so they switched to lippert. They had lippert for about few months now and the reviews balance out with Stilwell. You just made up my decision. Going to go with stilwell. Thanks again

I have question regarding the installation of the new hydraulic jack - did you lose much fluid when disconnecting the original lines from the dump to the pump, and with all the additional hydraulic lines added how did you figure out how much additional hydraulic fluid was needed?
Yes you lose fluid. I bought 1 gallon of Mobil DTE 24 hydraulic fluid to fill back up to the proper fill line.

I got one like that now having an issue. Every morning i found the trailer lower that where i left the night before.
What can be the problem?
Hydraulic leak somewhere. Since all the lines are pressurized, there has to be a leak or possibly the valve is bad. If you can't visibly see a leak I would give Stillwell a call.
What length hoses did you get?

How you made your hitch lock
What is that lock box for your adjustable coupler?
I made it. 1/4" steel plate. 5/8" hardened steel lock bolts using Warlock puck locks. Chains locked inside.
my dumper has gravity down. how would I power retract the jack then?
Flip the switch. You can call Stillwell, they can answer for sure how that would work.
Hello, I just bought a dump trailer 16K from Texas Pride, I haven't used it yet, but the stairwell jack is coming down, so I called Texas Pride, and the repair department said that I need to put air in the jack cylinder, however I haven't figured out how to do that. This is very disappointing since it's a brand new dump trailer. Please advise. Thank you!

I don't remember. It's actually cheaper if you buy it direct from Stillwell.

What kind of hitch lock is that? Where can i buy one?
I made it. With the thefts we have here in New Mexico, I decided to make one. The case mounts through the channel holes with 4140 hardened steel rods. Both sides of the rods are enclosed and the rods are locked with good puck locks. The case and rod/lock enclosures are 1/4" steel. It's very heavy so I made a handle to carry it and to make it easier to install/remove. There is also a rod on the inside to hang the chains on which are locked inside, as they could still steal trailers by just using the chains.
