I have done a playthrough in which Shep get close to Garrus in ME2 (for the achievement and to make Liara jealous xD) Liara: "Yes you came back and now Garrus is doing more than just calibrating the normandy's guns" make sense tematically.. Liara is cold and distant.. Shep doesn't understand why. Shep is alone, distant to everybody and everything and Garrus is the closest "Friend" around... Either she rekindle with Liara in LotSB or she is mad at Liara and refuse to see her for some time. But in me3 is always Space Blueberry!

In the OG ME2 if you have the three kinds of fish (alive) in your tank that Liara has in hers she'd remark upon it. I have yet to keep them alive long enough in Legendary to see if she still does. Course you used to be able get her on your team in ME2 when you refused someone else.

I think liara is the main romance because a lot of lines with her are different than the other characters like at the end of The citadel DLC everybody but liara says that the main character would come back and that it was a good ride while liara says that the characters right that they might not come back but it was a good ride

1 and 3. They give birth to live young. 2. Dont think a reason why has been given. 4. Most likely Yes from the final romance scene between her and Shepard. She references Shepard’s “little blue children” line from ME2 near the end of the game.
Liara is too young at the end of ME3 to have kids. Shepard is pretty much immortal thanks to Lazuras Project. So it's highly possible that Shep will meet a young daughter when Liara finds us. My question is are we awake or in a status pod during the between time.

Even though almost every single character in this game has a great romance storyline Liara is in my opinion the true default romance option.
100%, I think they did it intentionally, Shepard has lots of interactions with her, romantic or otherwise

The first time my Femshep meet liara, just normal. But when she touched in the deep of Shepard's mind, everthing changed.
