I have this backpack. I agree with your opinion on the main compartment zippers (it catches on the corners) but the harness system is way better than below average. It’s not the best, but its not as awful as you make it. Overall, still a great review and keep them coming!
I have the forrest green Bellroy Classic Backpack Plus. It's great on for a daily use. Very durable for my overpacking needs 🤭😄. Comfortable having my house packed inside 😁🙃 Chest strap is cool👍 however it gets easily dislodged😳. And I agree the the external zip pocket should be bilateral instead of just on one side. Despite that I still love this bag . Thank you for your review

Have you seen the bellroy classic plus second version? They update the back panel for airflow and wrap it underneath to give the laptop compartment a false bottom.
Really liked your review. Liked that I could skip to certain, important spots but I actually watch the whole vid straight through. Where are you finding this pack for $90 U.S. dollars...their site has it for a whopping $179. OUCH!

Agree with your comment on the flappy cover main compartment zipper! My flaps have some fraying threads already in 2 years of use! Not the end of the world but this is not a cheap jansport either!
I just got the second edition of this backpack and no it doesn't fit my 16 inch laptop comfortably. It goes in but it's a struggle to get it out. Will have to return it unfortunately.

Transit is a much better bag and has more modern functionality imo, but the classic is a classic for a reason! Ultimately you can’t go wrong with either
Unlike me, this bag looks "smart." Which is why I like it. Show up to a finance meeting, people are like, "Hey. That guy has a smart looking bag. He must be smart." As long as I don't say anything, all goes well.
