Absolutely wonderful, I have tears streaming down my face. These two wonderful elderly people refelect so may of our own grandparents . Catherine is such a lovely person, it can't be easy talking to people you don't really know, and coming across so caring and normal , she has a wonderful gift in being able to do just that.

Thank you to HRH The Duchess of Cambridge for the Hold Still project..., and in this case, a huge thanks to Hayley and her family for sharing the additional photos of her grandparents and the rest of the family (genealogists like myself love the extra photos, not just the dry statistics found in documents). Those of us who have been fortunate enough to have loving grandparents and parents like Hayley's can empathize, cry in sympathy, and smile through tears hearing the wonderful memories of people who were loving and loved in return. The Hold Still project has been a complete success! This is why so many people here in America love Catherine!

I will admit as a young adult, I had no time for the Royal family or even understood what all the fuss was about. But that was just ignorance on my part. About a decade ago though, I realised what importance the royal family has, what it means to people, what it means to the country and my opinions changed as I finally opened my eyes. I'm glad I changed, I'm glad I did. Now I see and hear things like this and feel proud.

I will admit as a young adult, I had no time for the Royal family or even understood what all the fuss was about. But that was just ignorance on my part. About a decade ago though, I realised what importance the royal family has, what it means to people, what it means to the country and my opinions changed as I finally opened my eyes. I'm glad I changed, I'm glad I did. Now I see and hear things like this and feel proud.
