I live in Perth and we went to Albany for a holiday and we had found this fishing spot with lots of little break that were fun for us cause we’re kids and if we caught fish we were happy, right. On the way one night dad was telling us how people spend their lives chasing mulloway and at our fishing spot there’s a channel but we don’t go in there. I thought I’d give it a shot. Hi Mate, the fish at night are called Mulloway, they get to over 100lbs and are a good eating fish. The fight on a big one can be pretty intense! But fun at any size. And the first fish is a Swallowtail Dart, they're a small fish that don't get very big but put up a good fight for their size.

Hi Mate, I'll give you a list of a few things I reckon are important. 1 - POV angle (GoPro 3+ - 8 on superview, using head mount) 2 - Get used to talking to camera like it's your mate, it will feel much more natural for the viewer. 3 - Simple edits on viral style content, so if you get an amazing fish just upload it raw with out much vlog/talking. 4 - Story edits on less viral content, try to create/share the story of your time fishing when the fish isn't anything special, so it's still engaging and interesting for the viewers. 5 - Title/Thumbnail is everything, you can have amazing content but youtube wont show it to anyone unless you have good titles/thumbnails! Focus on title/thumb for mobile (so make sure they look good/pop out at a really small size), most people watch on mobile so has to stand out on small phone screens. 6 - Just go out and have fun fishing! The more fun you have the more people will want to watch!

Hi Mate, I've never really used the Heavy Saltiga rods, have a couple of the cheaper saltiga models and they're good rods but don't get much airtime now that i have a ton of Spartans, the main Saltiga rods i've used are the C80ms and the old MO83S-F both I really love but they're lighter sticks and feel pretty different to the Spartans. I froth on all the Spartan models I've used, they cast well and have solid/big guides (lost a few guides on those two Saltiga models ^ over the years i think because they're small guides, attached with just two points and i'm prolly using to heavy a leader on em). But yeah i'd have to get a hands on feel of the top saltiga models to properly compare them. Loving the Spartans at the moment though. What specific models are you comparing/looking at?
