Sorry if I didn't catch it but what was the name or brand of the license plate bracket for underneath the fender? I have a 23 streetbob was looking to do the same to it. Thanks
Is there anyway to make the taillights stick out the same distance after taking that bracket off? Some sort of spacer? If you look close at the end, you can see 1 light sticks out further than the other.
I like it. My 2013 Slim is setup to be able to swap back and forth to a Fatboy low, basically the same thing you did, but I still like the slim setup sometimes and with the whitewalls but i got to get this plate setup for my slim. Am I wrong in thinking these rear ends are the same setup?
Got a question. The shorter standoff that is on the license plate side can it be used on the right side signal light to pull the lights in closer to the strut? In other words buy one of those use it on right side and use that one when plate moved to rear
Yupp! It’s on my playlist right after this video “custom dynamics integrated lights” Thea lights and mounts are available on most parts sites. I usually get my stuff from speed-kingcycle.com
I cant find one that will fit my 2011 softail blackline fxs. Theres one from TV bros but it says softails 18+ not sure how much of a difference it would be for my 2011
I’m surprised you didn’t mention anything about the rear blinkers/taillights are sitting unevenly left compared to the right since you remove that bracket for the stock plate mounting location, and you’re left with a short bracket/spacer. I don’t know if you ever noticed…
@@GilstrapGarage ah I got the exact same part for the exact same bike but I don’t see a built in license plate light… it has the mounting spot for it but no light
That’s how I normally go about it, but the m8 softails are so easy to install and remove with the strut bolts, I prefer to do it that way. Less risk of damaging the paint on the struts. There’s more than one way to skin a cat though 🤷🏼♂️
Another fine video homie! That looks like an expensive work bench there!
Thanks Danny! I put that car in the middle of the garage so I’d be forced to work on it and I still haven’t done shit with it 🤦🏼♂️
Had an evo lowrider like that. Eventually had to cut bait and start fresh

When will they make something that fits larger plates? Been forever

Great work. I just kinda kinda like the side mount. I just traded my ultra for a new fatboy. I hope it has the side mount.
Is there a kit out there for a street bob 114 that has the light and spacer all included?
I'm doing the exact opposite, like it on the side. Looks clean and you like it then thumbs up.

I mixed you up with McD Reckless, my bad you dont run this set up.

I do not believe that will work. If I am not mistaken, that are directional
What's that red tool you used for removing the screws for the fender? Looks handy
It’s a Milwaukee 12v ratchet. I love that thing!
Hey, did the lights come in for this? Id like to see how it looks and maybe a further away shot to see the full view?! Thanks man!

It was temporary until his light relocation kit came in. He knew about it before I pulled it. Follow up video is available on the lights
Where can I get one? Love it and video
Also, where does one get a mount like that lol
Wait why did you snip the wires for the license plate light? Don’t they just transfer over…
No, this has its own license plate lights built in to the frame

Did you ever make the video with the new lights
Yes sir I did!
I found it thank you
Hi I like watching your videos have you seen Gilstraptv channel?
Thanks for watching! I have seen it lol. My brother used to watch a lot of it. No relation to him though
Love that stealth

Where can buy the plate bracket for 22 Fat Boy 114?
I tried to do some homework for you brotha, but it doesn’t look like they make them for the fat boy
@@GilstrapGarage Thanks for doing the homework. Sorry to cause you the homework.
@@MrBuddha71 no problem at all man 🤘🏻
114s don't need license plates, Police cant keep up so no need to give them a number to remember you bye lol
A bad HD trend of the Side License Plate. I have one on my Roadster 2019 that needs to go.
Nice Monte Carlo
Thank you!
Couldn't you just loosen the bolts on the fender and not have to remove the entire strut from the frame?

That's a AUTOMATIC FINE HERE in CANADA, and it SHOULD BE EVERYWHERE
Why should it be a fine? The stock mounts looks terrible
