to be honest u had every right to be petty, it’s the equal level of pettiness they were showing. bringing a lvl 20 character into a very high lvl domain compared to their amber is clear that they’re getting mad for no reason, and they’re not taking this seriously. i know its just a game but there’s no reason to be so mad u bring a level 20 amber just to die in the end

I join higher level domains and if I can't use my main, I'll just be a healer. After all, being a healer it's more relaxing and I don't even need to get close to the enemy to attack (I use Barbara), just need to keep my teammates alive.
I think that's more stressful as a kokomi main.. When ur the dps u just try to keep urself alive, when ur the healer u got to keep ALL ur teamates alive. And then there's the ppl who aren't good at dodging/get one shotted..

As a bennet enjoyer i never had trouble coop i made 43 friends instead i heal and buff and make domains faster i wish i could encounter a toxic player wouldve been a funny encounter.
@@janiosarmani1736 I actually encountered some toxic Yanfei main while using Bennett. They had no idea that Bennett could heal and buff the team. So when they died in the domain, they were talking trash to the rest of the co-op team and saying things like “This is why you bring a healer” or “Why didn’t you change Amber to a healer, that way you’d be useful.” They got pretty embarrassed and left quickly after being told off by my other two teammates how Bennet works.
Same thing just happened to me now but with Eula, we both changed characters because were both nice but then we both switched to Diona, and then we both switched to Mona…- I can’t ✋🏻💀

I honestly don't see a problem with what you did. Sure, you were both petty but it can be pretty relatable and understandable that you didn't want another failed domain attempt. There was no reason for that person to try to sabotage the domain and get carried either and I see that as pretty infuriating. If I were put in that position, I'd do the same thing.

I brought a lvl 50 barbara to a lvl 90 crismon domain and they accepted it And my barbara healed them quite a ton, they couldve died if i didnt healed them

Bruh, c'mon, I did the same thing, but I was joking. I brought my lvl 20 Amber (cuz another Childe was higher lvl, but my Childe was my only built character) and in the middle of the fight I was like “You guys are getting absolutely carried” and they joked abt it too. Best co-op experience I had in a while
that happened to me as well it honestly makes co op more enjoyable than let’s do this domain then dip out but i guess people are serious about their domains

@@nayshine7875 yeah i do think it's unreasonable to expect amazing co-op experiences all the time, and if you're someone who really can't handle that, playing solo is better. but it also depends on the people and what they're up to. again, it's as simple as just testing out the waters before diving in. most of the time, people are chill, but what can bother them is not letting them know whatever you're up to if you are up to something.
I did this sometimes, "guys, watch me steal ayakas artifacts and use lvl 20 chongyun" and all of them cheering on me despite only doing 7k as the highest dmg, it was super fun tho

Everyone knows the unspoken rule that if there’s two characters and one is a higher level, then obviously the person with the lower level character will have to change.
I brought lvl 1 Aloy to lvl 90 domain couple of times. It was very fun and people said that she is pretty strong for lvl 1. I was happy ☺️ Games are for fun after all
i met one (asia server) they had the name "ihatelowlevel" then they declined the invite multiple times but decided not to kick them, instead i lured the enemies to them and helped the others lol. After that 3 of us leave the domain but they just stayed inside. I thought it would be funny to leave them there and finish my commissions then 5 minutes after they left my world, imagine being that cocky congrats you just played yourself.

I think tbh that having a higher level char doesn't mean anything when it comes to using it. I think it all comes down to who has the least built "mains" because those who have more can alternate easily which isn't the case for everybody. and punishing low lveled players because the other one has a higher level is kind of dumb. Now I do think that being petty ain't good but yeah this vid seems kind of petty too so ...

Ironically, in my experience, usually between a lvl 90 and a lvl 80 of the same character, the one at 80 is actually better built and smarter played. Someone who knows the game well will rather save their resources and keep the char at 80 (with very few exceptions for swirlers and HP-built Zhongli). Meanwhile there are many very casual players who think leveling to 90 is the most important thing, so they keep their weapon at like lvl 50 and have 4* artifacts from 5 different sets (often with useless mainstats at that). Needless to say they hit like a wet noodle and die fast
I know it’s frustrating to not be able to bring your favorite character. Sometimes that’s the only good character you have. But it’s not ok to argue with someone that has a stronger character. If their character is stronger, then just be the bigger person, let them bring theirs. So there’s a higher chance of everyone getting what they want. When playing with other people you need be considerate. 😫
I personally think that u should let ppl play whatever they want, maybe take turns on the same character. Gaming is about having fun, as long as nobodys actually starting drama by saying rude and petty stuff then it shouldn't be the biggest problem. They did let the other player play as Hu Tao after all lol
honestly, i disagree. i understand where you're coming from, but what if i don't want to level XYZ all the way to 90, but I want to use them in a co op domain, and ABC player decides to use their higher level as leverage over me? i don't think it really matters. just let people play who they want.
i tried matching for the first time with my coop friend and random ppl. my friend was helping me out with the process and the last one joined and my friend told to start and yeah 4p didnt load in. I didnt do it on purpose and they were so toxic and starting yelling at me [all caps lol] and then i just exited genshin like bruh i never tried matching and it happened on accident and till this date ive never tried matching again ;-; coz im scared i might bump into toxic ppl sheesh edit: thanks yall for giving me hope in coop again! i had a VERY pleasant artifact domain coop session with a stranger and it seemed like at one point they ran outa resin [ig] and were just helping me [yeah they totally didnt look like they were collectig artis at the end]
if they called u names and cursed u then that's bad but...as someone who often gets left out in asia server for high pings, it DOES kinda hurt a lot. when that happens to me, i usually just question the host on why they did that. sometimes they apologize sometimes they dont.

I am endgame player at AR 57. When I get bored I go to newbie worlds and help them out. It sucks that you ran into a player like that. I remember when I first started the game and didn’t know anything so I just was patient with newbies and try to help them out with the mistakes that I also made. Most dudes on co op are chill dudes. Don’t let it discourage you. For example just today, one guy I went in today was also endgame and was trying to get a party of Hu Tao’s to fight the Wolf. I didn’t have a Hu Tao but I had a Qiqi. And considering the relationship between those two, 3 Hu Tao’s and 1 Qiqi is kinda funny so they guy was fine with the party and we fought and beat the wolf and I kept them all alive with Qiqi heals. It was great. Co op is fun when you don’t run into toxic players.
I brought out an unbuilt (only a flower artifact and lvl 1 thrilling tales) lvl 60 barbara once in a lvl 90 domain, because I needed that friendship exp, I was the highest ar (57) and they were 50, 53, and 51, but I asked them to carry me and they kindly said "sure you can relax and drink some coffee" lol it was a fun experience

They were both petty though, and they didn't throw a tantrum at all they just silently waited for them to change there character. Also, level does matter to a extent, artifacts can only do so much. Also, who is acting like a 2 year old? They aren't screaming or crying, just giving back the same energy. It could've been a joke but both sides are at fault for the most part.
You should let them play as whatever they want as long as they dont start any drama by saying petty rude stuff imo, they let the other person play as hu tao and both could maybe take turns on using hu tao each round

You can easily just do it in your own word and anyway Co-Op lowers damage so you basically are choosing for a challenge. If your going into Co-Op you should expect to carry and to be carried.
Artefacts are half the battle in this game. I’d argue it’s more important than levelling up. Have you guys not see the video where a level 1 Aloy hitting 30k damage? That’s the power of good artefacts. Asking is all you need to know if it’s a built low level character or not.
I always say something like: "I believe! TEAM [INSERT LVL20] leggo!!!" And then let them die. 3/4 is always enough to finish a domain so I just let ppl do whatever the hell they want. Full disclosure: Before the Eula release in 1.5, I used my placeholder lvl 20 Razor with fully built pale flame and lvl 90 WGS to scare the living sheet out of higher lvls with my 'lvl 20 carry dmg' so there's always a chance that the amber was fully built😂😂
Id just start anyways. I do not want to give them enough time to think that they can protest more if they pulled out the hu tao again since you cannot start with duplicate character.

I mean, on the higher level has more right to use the character thing I find at a point it doesn't matter. Cons and artifacts, and weapons matter more then a difference between say a 81-90, because the gain versus cost of exp isn't really worth it for most people. A level 81 c2-c6 hu-tao is going to out-dps a lvl 90 c0 hu-tao any day (assuming both are built with artifacts). Same case with a 4star weapon versus having a homa. Most of the time tho I just go on who was there first to make it more fair.

I’m always a healer. And so far I’ve never had any problems with being the healer of the team. Also I feel like it takes longer to farm in coop cuz people are leaving and joining in coop and there are problems in coop so it’s rare for me to coop.
This is why I always show my characters I main in my profile and always check other profiles so that I know what characters they use and choose a character that fit for the team

I never ecounter this situation, Asia Server seem pretty acceptance to other player as long they are not stealing resource, back when I still low level AR and use Traveler as main char, no one ever kick me or ask me to change to another character. even now if someone join my Co-op and bring an unbuild char i never ask them to change to another character as long that character element didn't contradict with the Domain effect.

I remembered when I coop with Lisa main and we went to Thundering Fury artifact domain. Then he choose the lvl 90 difficulty. At that time I was understand that he wanted to look for an artifact, but, he did not change the character. He still keep using Lisa. Just when I said to change it to something else to help the others, he kicked me out. (Since the domain is consist of Electro slimes, Lisa pretty much can't do anything about it until the electro mage Fatui appear and it takes a long time to kill the slimes) Then he called me toxic. Bruh, I was saying the fact. --" Even if he wanted us to carry him, at least use other character to help us a bit. It was 4 players coop btw the monster HP and dmg higher than solo.
The thing is even if she only use electro she can still help putthing those Enemy under electro so for Cryo or Pyro user can make reacstion ... So even if she caint kill she can still help

But my case was even tho she use physical, just how long for it to trigger physical dmg when all the monster at early phase was Electro Slimes, Like, Immune>Immune>Immune>Physical? Just want to wait for how long to kill it? That's not efficient, even though we know that It is possible to do physical, but the character itself is not a physical. I am not gonna judge or anything, It just, please, You can use that build if the enemies are different element. That is still "Okay" for me. Just think when you are against Abyss mage with same element, are you gonna hit it and wait for the physical reaction? Or you go to any hypostasis boss with same element, and hit them just to see the physical dmg? Just how long you are going to fight them until they died of the physical damage? Except for the enemy that can be hit with same elemental, because them self is not imbued with natural element. (Like Abyss mage when the shield is down) Me? Gonna use other character. That's even better option than same element character with the enemies just to see the physical damage. Stop torturing yourself.
As a (partial) Amber main, I’m just kinda offended that they had the audacity to pull out the secret 6* as a bad character. Keep in mind, Amber is the only character that didn’t want anything from you and just wanted to help.
Sometimes I’ll try to bring my Razor, Diluc, Yoimiya or Itto etc to a domain, and if someone else is using them or already has a dps of that element, I just switch to Kokomi so I can heal them and occasionally pop in to apply hydro lol. I don’t get people throwing a fit cause their character was taken.

Happened something similar to me, but in my case I was ar 50 or so and my main dps was Jean as I didn't have much characters. There was a Hu Tao and someone else, but there was this person with Jean too and they had lv90 with her purchaseable skin. It was a lv80 viridescent domain and they were insisting on Jean even when I said it was the only character I could do domain without dying. They didn't change and I changed to Kuki but then they complained that it was low level. In the end I got so frustrated and they saw me as the 'pissed off' person when the high ar Jean could have simply changed their character or better, go to their lv90 domain as it was her Jean's level. Fortunately this didn't happen much, the community is overall nice but I got very anxious bc of this.
I was once co-oping at the mountain peak domain and wanted to use my yanfei. she was 10 lvl higher than the one the other player had + my yanfei was C6 (she is literally my only dps right now) the other yanfei player wrote they were ready to switch but I was imperatively and quite rudely told by a hu tao main to switch for WHOEVER ELSE I own well, I chose low-leveled jean and made sure to provide hu tao with a proper heal
I have lvl 80 kokomi usually main/sub dps in general with new artifacts Everyone tries to kick me out because she doesnt do damage but they get upset when her artifacts (burst mode) deals 18k-30k dmg at most Sad how these people who trashed kokomi started to kneel for kokomi rerun You snooze ya loose

I usually start with my main, or kazuha, depending on the domain, and if someone with a higher lvl has it, which doesnt happen often, since I have my favs lvl90, i switch, or if they really want to play their character, i have enough characters to be able to play without my main. If there are no healers ill take Bennett or diona, for the multi sheild
It happened once when I choose Kokomi then went in my phone waiting for the person to start the domain. When I realized it was long, I looked at my screen and realized the host was spamming the chat saying that they wanted to take Kokomi and asked me to change it. I feel bad because I would have said yes and I would have changed it earlier but that person looked so sad in the chat. I just changed my character to Chongyun and we started the domain with no problem.
Imo anyone should choose what they want to play as, gaming is about having fun and they didnt really say anything rude or something petty when someone else got to be hu tao

I remember having a similar experience not too long ago. I had just gotten my Albedo to lvl 90 and he did pretty decent dam too. This other person wanted to play Albedo tho. After all his re run banner basically just opened. Normally I would have switched off cuz I have other characters I can play, but the thing is is that they were 20 levels under me in a lvl 90 domain. I refused to switch because I didn’t want any inconveniences for my team mates inside the domain. After a minute or two they left. It was kinda funny cuz they had willingly switched of their Albedo in the previous run for me. Either way, the rest of that co op experience was really fun and I think I got my first 1 mill dam with my Childe cuz of this god sent Bennett. Bless that Bennett, I hope they’re doing well.

I join higher level domains and if I can't use my main, I'll just be a healer. After all, being a healer it's more relaxing and I don't even need to get close to the enemy to attack (I use Barbara), just need to keep my teammates alive.
I think that's more stressful as a kokomi main.. When ur the dps u just try to keep urself alive, when ur the healer u got to keep ALL ur teamates alive. And then there's the ppl who aren't good at dodging/get one shotted..

So when they died in the domain, they were talking trash to the rest of the co-op team and saying things like “This is why you bring a healer” or “Why didn’t you change Amber to a healer, that way you’d be useful.” They got pretty embarrassed and left quickly after being told off by my other two teammates how Bennet works.

I honestly don't see a problem with what you did. Sure, you were both petty but it can be pretty relatable and understandable that you didn't want another failed domain attempt. There was no reason for that person to try to sabotage the domain and get carried either and I see that as pretty infuriating. If I were put in that position, I'd do the same thing.

In Asia Servers, People bring out low level characters to high level domains and we honestly don't bat an eye. I for once brought level 60 lumi to a level 70 domain and people were kind to me about it, just let others play what they want :D

i met one (asia server) they had the name "ihatelowlevel" then they declined the invite multiple times but decided not to kick them, instead i lured the enemies to them and helped the others lol. After that 3 of us leave the domain but they just stayed inside. I thought it would be funny to leave them there and finish my commissions then 5 minutes after they left my world, imagine being that cocky congrats you just played yourself.

I think it all comes down to who has the least built "mains" because those who have more can alternate easily which isn't the case for everybody. and punishing low lveled players because the other one has a higher level is kind of dumb. Ironically, in my experience, usually between a lvl 90 and a lvl 80 of the same character, the one at 80 is actually better built and smarter played. Someone who knows the game well will rather save their resources and keep the char at 80 (with very few exceptions for swirlers and HP-built Zhongli). Meanwhile there are many very casual players who think leveling to 90 is the most important thing, so they keep their weapon at like lvl 50 and have 4* artifacts from 5 different sets (often with useless mainstats at that). Needless to say they hit like a wet noodle and die fast

If their character is stronger, then just be the bigger person, let them bring theirs. So there’s a higher chance of everyone getting what they want. I personally think that u should let ppl play whatever they want, maybe take turns on the same character. i tried matching for the first time with my coop friend and random ppl. my friend was helping me out with the process and the last one joined and my friend told to start and yeah 4p didnt load in. I am endgame player at AR 57. When I get bored I go to newbie worlds and help them out. It sucks that you ran into a player like that.
I remember when I first started the game and didn’t know anything so I just was patient with newbies and try to help them out with the mistakes that I also made.
Most dudes on co op are chill dudes. Don’t let it discourage you.
For example just today, one guy I went in today was also endgame and was trying to get a party of Hu Tao’s to fight the Wolf. I didn’t have a Hu Tao but I had a Qiqi. And considering the relationship between those two, 3 Hu Tao’s and 1 Qiqi is kinda funny so they guy was fine with the party and we fought and beat the wolf and I kept them all alive with Qiqi heals. It was great.

I brought out an unbuilt (only a flower artifact and lvl 1 thrilling tales) lvl 60 barbara once in a lvl 90 domain, because I needed that friendship exp, I was the highest ar (57) and they were 50, 53, and 51, but I asked them to carry me and they kindly said "sure you can relax and drink some coffee" lol it was a fun experience

Artefacts are half the battle in this game. I’d argue it’s more important than levelling up. Have you guys not see the video where a level 1 Aloy hitting 30k damage? That’s the power of good artefacts. Asking is all you need to know if it’s a built low level character or not.
I always say something like: "I believe! TEAM [INSERT LVL20] leggo!!!" And then let them die.
3/4 is always enough to finish a domain so I just let ppl do whatever the hell they want.
Full disclosure: Before the Eula release in 1.5, I used my placeholder lvl 20 Razor with fully built pale flame and lvl 90 WGS to scare the living sheet out of higher lvls with my 'lvl 20 carry dmg' so there's always a chance that the amber was fully built😂😂

I mean, on the higher level has more right to use the character thing I find at a point it doesn't matter. Cons and artifacts, and weapons matter more then a difference between say a 81-90, because the gain versus cost of exp isn't really worth it for most people. A level 81 c2-c6 hu-tao is going to out-dps a lvl 90 c0 hu-tao any day (assuming both are built with artifacts). Same case with a 4star weapon versus having a homa. Most of the time tho I just go on who was there first to make it more fair.

I’m always a healer. And so far I’ve never had any problems with being the healer of the team. Also I feel like it takes longer to farm in coop cuz people are leaving and joining in coop and there are problems in coop so it’s rare for me to coop.
This is why I always show my characters I main in my profile and always check other profiles so that I know what characters they use and choose a character that fit for the team

What if their Lisa was physical tho? If they have solar pearl or Atlas, then you can make any catalyst physical.
Catalyst user has elemental attack as normal attack. There is no physical attack.
The thing is even if she only use electro she can still help putthing those Enemy under electro so for Cryo or Pyro user can make reacstion ... So even if she caint kill she can still help
@@TheAhongsan no they can be physical, if you use physical damage artifacts and solar peart or atlas, then will she do big phys damage, my mona does 11k physical damage

That's not efficient, even though we know that It is possible to do physical, but the character itself is not a physical.
I am not gonna judge or anything, It just, please, You can use that build if the enemies are different element. That is still "Okay" for me.
Just think when you are against Abyss mage with same element, are you gonna hit it and wait for the physical reaction? Or you go to any hypostasis boss with same element, and hit them just to see the physical dmg? Just how long you are going to fight them until they died of the physical damage? Except for the enemy that can be hit with same elemental, because them self is not imbued with natural element. (Like Abyss mage when the shield is down)
Me? Gonna use other character. That's even better option than same element character with the enemies just to see the physical damage.

As a (partial) Amber main, I’m just kinda offended that they had the audacity to pull out the secret 6* as a bad character. Keep in mind, Amber is the only character that didn’t want anything from you and just wanted to help.
I'd block them just so there's no 2nd encounter with them forever.

Sometimes I’ll try to bring my Razor, Diluc, Yoimiya or Itto etc to a domain, and if someone else is using them or already has a dps of that element, I just switch to Kokomi so I can heal them and occasionally pop in to apply hydro lol. I don’t get people throwing a fit cause their character was taken.

there's a time I need help in one domain and I ask my genshin server member help, I didn't choose the higher level domain just bcs I don't want to and I end up got roasted the whole day like wtf

tbh i also had this too just recently, there were two hu tao (one of them is me) were for each other to change, but after 2 minute, i was about to say "can i use hu tao for friendship" but then the host says "bye" and then kicks me
Happened something similar to me, but in my case I was ar 50 or so and my main dps was Jean as I didn't have much characters. There was a Hu Tao and someone else, but there was this person with Jean too and they had lv90 with her purchaseable skin. It was a lv80 viridescent domain and they were insisting on Jean even when I said it was the only character I could do domain without dying. They didn't change and I changed to Kuki but then they complained that it was low level. In the end I got so frustrated and they saw me as the 'pissed off' person when the high ar Jean could have simply changed their character or better, go to their lv90 domain as it was her Jean's level. Fortunately this didn't happen much, the community is overall nice but I got very anxious bc of this.
I was once co-oping at the mountain peak domain and wanted to use my yanfei. she was 10 lvl higher than the one the other player had + my yanfei was C6 (she is literally my only dps right now)
the other yanfei player wrote they were ready to switch but I was imperatively and quite rudely told by a hu tao main to switch for WHOEVER ELSE I own
well, I chose low-leveled jean and made sure to provide hu tao with a proper heal
yall have wild coop experiences, whenever i and someone else pick the same character, we both end up switching lmao

I have lvl 80 kokomi usually main/sub dps in general with new artifacts
Everyone tries to kick me out because she doesnt do damage but they get upset when her artifacts (burst mode) deals 18k-30k dmg at most

I usually start with my main, or kazuha, depending on the domain, and if someone with a higher lvl has it, which doesnt happen often, since I have my favs lvl90, i switch, or if they really want to play their character, i have enough characters to be able to play without my main. If there are no healers ill take Bennett or diona, for the multi sheild

It happened once when I choose Kokomi then went in my phone waiting for the person to start the domain. When I realized it was long, I looked at my screen and realized the host was spamming the chat saying that they wanted to take Kokomi and asked me to change it.
I feel bad because I would have said yes and I would have changed it earlier but that person looked so sad in the chat.
I just changed my character to Chongyun and we started the domain with no problem.
Imo anyone should choose what they want to play as, gaming is about having fun and they didnt really say anything rude or something petty when someone else got to be hu tao

I remember having a similar experience not too long ago. I had just gotten my Albedo to lvl 90 and he did pretty decent dam too. This other person wanted to play Albedo tho. After all his re run banner basically just opened. Normally I would have switched off cuz I have other characters I can play, but the thing is is that they were 20 levels under me in a lvl 90 domain. I refused to switch because I didn’t want any inconveniences for my team mates inside the domain. After a minute or two they left. It was kinda funny cuz they had willingly switched of their Albedo in the previous run for me. Either way, the rest of that co op experience was really fun and I think I got my first 1 mill dam with my Childe cuz of this god sent Bennett. Bless that Bennett, I hope they’re doing well.
Something like this happened while I was in the Childe domain. There were two Hu Taos that time. They both waited for eachother to change, until one of them left the world lol

usually i would use klee since shes my dps and jean if i cant, at some point i pull our lvl 50 keqing just to try helping (i put jeans artifacts since artifact hard to get)
That person was in my game too i was playing jean but they wanted to play jean aswell but i was higher lvl but instead of changing character they left the world ;-;
