OK, this is worse than the time 2 Azdaha lobbies kicked me for daring to enter their world as Kokomi (boss is hard in co op, I don't mind being the healer but this day I lucked out and wandered in to Not one but 2 kokomi haters worlds). The host has the power to kick you and this person pulled the old "my units are better than yours, BS" ON THE HOST.
I hate players like that with a passion. I was doing weekly bosses on my sister's account before the reset and she's a Razor main, so I had him out. I came across this Jean pfp who had "Only 5*" or smth like that in their signature, so they immediately kicked me, because I joined with Razor (which is funny, 'cuz my sister has a Kazuha pfp, so they could've at least waited for me to pull Kazuha out?? If they asked nicely if I could use a 5*, then that's completely fine) And I really just wanted a quick coop round, because I couldn't do it in singleplayer and I was tired af, but I matched with them like 10 times. I was so close to just throw my phone at the wall and if I had the chance, would've cussed them out in chat. What's the point anyway?? Just let people use the character they want, as long as we finish the domain??? They'd really rather wait longer to finish a domain, than to just let 3 people join and start.

Yeah, I encountered several awkward but also funny instances. I know it's like a silent rule that those who have higher level has the dibs, but idk sometimes even if I have the higher level I change my character lmao it's like a reflex. If they change theirs, then I switch back to my first option but sometimes we both end up not picking that chara, trying to be nice lol. I just take the initiative cause I feel bad and I wanna avoid the silent tug of war.

But everytime someone picks/is using the same character as me I get so anxious and stressed I immediately change into another 😭 had a situation where I along with two other players entered to do Azhdaha with Ganyu. Suffice to say nobody ended up taking her
I met a venti main in my world. He was confusing as hell. I used Bennett in childe domain. He said "You used Bennett? Sorry for being toxic". And then he left Tf he meant?
I met a venti main that kept barking in the chat and picking on the other players in the world. Plus, whenever i used my Venti, they claimed that I was an imposter and shouldn't use Venti because "they're the real venti." 😐
Meanwhile Len is just silently watching as everyone burns around them xD But to be real, I'm truly sorry for this experience you guys had there! I hope you will not run into such situations too often! And I think the host handled this pretty well, huge congrats and respect for them! I'm so happy that every Co-Op experience for me has been good and nice, as an example I met Noelle and Amber mains on the same day and I asked them if they are mains, they said yes and all I said was "cool! I never met an Amber or Noelle main" and that's how I made two friends I have more friends on Genshin than real life now
There's also toxic players in Asia server tho. If you play a certain character, example. Qiqi, they'd just kick you out without saying a word. Randoms in co-op are just like gatcha, sometimes its bad sometimes it's good. I've experienced this a couple of times, you'll just get use to the bad apples too 😌, eventually.
The way he just wasted your time and made everyone wait just to show off his 5star characters all built that litteraly no one cares about, then pick up a character someone else had already chosen before him and told them to change their Yelan disgusts me. Hope he never gets helped in coop or anything again since he apparently can't respect other people and only care about boasting himself. Also he has litteraly no justification for doing so. The team was already good, lvl70/80 characters are already strong, and since he had other built 5stars, he could have perfectly chosen any other character. Just ew. Hope you won't have to deal with that kind of bs people again, they are just here for themselves and never help anyone 😐
The only time when people in the Asia server tell to pick characters is when we need a healer for the domain. Other than that mostly poeple don't even speak up. Only when their resin is over the say "thank you sm" and leave lmao
Meanwhile whenever I choose the same character as someone else we both end up switching. It's even funnier when we choose the same character sometimes only to switch back to the initial choice only to see the other person do the exact same thing.
I feel like fights like this in coop happen frequently in silence. Usually it doesn’t take long for one person to give up and pick someone else but I feel like this happens to often yk 🤷♀️

@@kokopeann2504 even if they asked nicely, the host was already using yelan, and they didn't have enough characters build, unlike the venti main. venti main could have easily used another character, but host couldn't, because, apparently, they were kinda new and didn't get to build enough characters
Same thing happend to me but in a adzdha domain. They laughed when the healer died, then died right after. (They brought venti) And then called us weak and wouldn't leave the domain for a few mins, so the moment they got out the domain I kicked them and reported.
I thought it was a universal genshin reaction to allow the one with the higher leveled character to play. Apparently that only happened in Asia server 😔
The whole point is that You can ask someone nicely to change charac. Sometimes people with lower characters doesnt have any other to play or others are taken as well. 😭 Thats why im scared playing in coop with strangers
Usually in eu servers we go by ‘if the host is playing that char, don’t try to be that char’ but if it’s the other ppl its ‘who has the higher level’, apparently not for this venti main

I play on NA and luckily I haven't encountered any toxic people💀 I prefer doing domains solo since I farm friendship exp for underleveled characters and the people I regularly co-op with are either my closest friends or people with nice signatures. Even so, every co op run I've done is just "thank you for the run!" "GG!" and "lol we all died let's try again with a different party" Hope yall will only have positive co op experiences
Thank Mihoyo that the few co-op games i played were nice. I was low AR and they were helping me with everything. Nowadays i don't want to play in co-op because i don't feel like my builds are good and it's pretty embarrassing sometimes.
Honestly, I only queue up for co-op to help people who have weaker builds, and most of mine I would consider mediocre, but I normally clear domains faster solo. My Ganyu has 2 shot the deepwood memories domain before, but I don't even have her full build yet. I still need 2 more Wanderer's troupe pieces. She is c0 with r2 Amos Bow. Dehya, Bennett, and Nahida gave her some nice buffs.
Also as long as no one else is in the world, because if they’re toxic to other people I’m playing with I’d immediately kick them. But if it’s to me I think it’s funny
i've never meet a toxic player in asia server, luckily i always experienced the most wholesome co-op with them. ofc most of them are so chill af, like "its okay if you want to use this characters, i can change to my other characters" and then when you died early in the domain, they like "you dont have to worry, we got your back"
Advice: If you in that situation just kick people, it's not worth it there's still a lot of players in genshin and a lot of veteran players are wholesome people who are nice to play with, and if not that you can find people who *don't* make your life harder
i've experienced something like this before..except, the person was INTENTIONALLY using bad characters just to piss me off... i'm a whale, i have almost every character c6 r5. ( i dont see why i said this but oh well ) i was in raiden co-op and someone randomly decided to piss me off by switching to all the characters i wanted to use. ( they had them lower lvled than me, like lvl 50 while mine were lvl 90, and they all had 4 star artifacts while mine were fully built ) they REFUSED to use a character of theirs that was leveled up, and once the host started with me using thignari because they didn't have him, the person made comments about how he was weak, he didn't do any damage and that they did a lot more damage. Now, i'm gonna be honest, my tighnari isn't the best but he's not terrible. He's c2 and r3 and i'd say he has rather decent stats. ( 64/177 with 452 em ) but.. keep in mind, this person was saying that while using a lvl 55 ayaka that had 4 star artifacts. Either they had no confidence and they just wanted to bully me to feel stronger, or they just had that much confidence and felt the need to bully someone out of sprite. people like this anger me so much, i ended up blocking them and reporting them. I hope some ppl learn from this video..and maybe even from my comment. If ur ever host and someone is this shitty of a person, please kick them tf out.

It’s an unspoken rule that the host gets to play whoever they want. If I join a world and the host has my main, to bad for me, I fucking switch. If I wanted to make the rules and play how I want, then I wouldn’t join other ppl.

In asia server I've rarely do coop but most players are nice or just don't talk. Its usually the one with the highest character level who can use the character but some instances where you have the same level I would change then same person would also change in the end we end up changing back and forth and I would just pick a different character and no one will end up using the character we initially plan to use.
Sometimes, just for fun, I tend to try and run a trounce domain boss at high level with characters at a low level. It’s fun when other people in the server decide to tag along, even when we inevitably die instantly
I hate players like that 😢 I max built my Childe so I always use him when I can but at times other players will try and use him and usually I give in but it’s very upsetting since he is my favourite and I’ve worked on him for months and most of the time they r weaker than me. Then when I change into him they get salty cuz he is stronger than theirs… there’s really no getting around with toxic players…
I had someone do this to me, they changed into every character I changed into and just refused to start the domain, so I pulled out thoma and they didn't even have thoma so I made fun of them and they kicked me. serves them right for being a waste of time ❤️

Here’s the story time if you want to read besties: So I wanted to do a domain for my Kazuha build (which I lost my 50/50 to keqing but that’s a detail) alright and at the time I only had Xiao that was quite good. There was someone else that had Xiao and when we were preparing coop (like in the video) the person didn’t want to change it at first so I ask them “would you mind changing your character, xiao is my only well built one and I’d be more useful for the team if I take him”. They tell me “it’s not because you have it that I’m gonna change it” while I was typing my previous message (if you understand what I mean). I reply “ik I’m not the only one with it, I’m just saying I’d be more helpful if I have him than if I use a lvl 50 dull blade qiqi” THEY LITERALLY REPLIED “so ur saying I don’t have good characters??? You think your xiao is better than mine??” I just replied “man chile since when did I mention anything bad about your xiao” The owner ended kicking us of his game but I came back and ended up making a friend lmao. also happened to me once but the person ended up changing it because “bc I’m nice I’ll change it 😙” like man since when anyways thanks for reading this, peace ✌️
I had people, who were probably in on it, let me join their co-op and didn't start the domain, after about 10-15 minutes they started and chose my units, eventually i chose my lvl 40 aloy so they would have to carry cus "they so wanted to be those characters" they didnt start the domain and disbanded, this happened twice in a row...
I'm a Razor main, and I love doing domain's in co-op, so I've unfortunately encountered toxic players who believed ALL 4 stars are trash, especially the non-popular 4 stars.
this is why I'm too scared to co op with people. I luckily just co op with my friends when I need help. And now I can do the domains myself .I don't think ill ever do the co op thing with strangers. I'm too nervous for that
My rule when in co-op if someone wants to use the character I currently had when we were going into domain. Always give it. I have others. But seriously if it’s the host they get first pick
As a Asia server player, I’ve never had this problem. Mostly everyone on that server is super sweet. I have never met anyone who was rude or disrespectful in any way.
I usually just switch and play diona or any support/sub dps to help others even if i trust my dps build I once met a fella ayato main on raiden shogun’s domain, we kept losing until he switched off his ayato and i had the chance to use mine xD He was very sweet and complemented my boba boy Point is, even if you trust your build more, let others get the chance to use these characters if they picked first, at the end it’s a game and supposed to be fun

Usually when I join co-op and they don’t reply I’m worried I’m making them nervous if they aren’t social
Half of the time when I do co-op domains I just use my c6 Amber. Anemo Traveler is another fun one to use because no one expects those 2 to do damage.
I'm so happy that every Co-Op experience for me has been good and nice, as an example I met Noelle and Amber mains on the same day and I asked them if they are mains, they said yes and all I said was "cool! I never met an Amber or Noelle main" and that's how I made two friends

There's also toxic players in Asia server tho. If you play a certain character, example. Qiqi, they'd just kick you out without saying a word. Randoms in co-op are just like gatcha, sometimes its bad sometimes it's good. I've experienced this a couple of times, you'll just get use to the bad apples too 😌, eventually.
I wanted to play Venti in co-op and the owner said they’d kick me if I used him, so I left and found a new co-op where they let me use him :)
A minority tho,im ar58 and well only once i lagged in raiden and someone said shit about my kokomi (she do 6.5k heal per tick 🙄)
Early game I mained Diluc, kept getting kicked galore (at the time, Diluc mains were mostly toxic, I was the rare nice Diluc main)

The only time when people in the Asia server tell to pick characters is when we need a healer for the domain. Other than that mostly poeple don't even speak up. Only when their resin is over the say "thank you sm" and leave lmao

Meanwhile whenever I choose the same character as someone else we both end up switching. It's even funnier when we choose the same character sometimes only to switch back to the initial choice only to see the other person do the exact same thing.

Same thing happend to me but in a adzdha domain. They laughed when the healer died, then died right after. (They brought venti) And then called us weak and wouldn't leave the domain for a few mins, so the moment they got out the domain I kicked them and reported.

Usually in eu servers we go by ‘if the host is playing that char, don’t try to be that char’ but if it’s the other ppl its ‘who has the higher level’, apparently not for this venti main

I play on NA and luckily I haven't encountered any toxic people💀 I prefer doing domains solo since I farm friendship exp for underleveled characters and the people I regularly co-op with are either my closest friends or people with nice signatures. Even so, every co op run I've done is just "thank you for the run!" "GG!" and "lol we all died let's try again with a different party"

I was low AR and they were helping me with everything.
Nowadays i don't want to play in co-op because i don't feel like my builds are good and it's pretty embarrassing sometimes.
Honestly, I only queue up for co-op to help people who have weaker builds, and most of mine I would consider mediocre, but I normally clear domains faster solo. My Ganyu has 2 shot the deepwood memories domain before, but I don't even have her full build yet. I still need 2 more Wanderer's troupe pieces. She is c0 with r2 Amos Bow. Dehya, Bennett, and Nahida gave her some nice buffs.

i'm a whale, i have almost every character c6 r5.

i was in raiden co-op and someone randomly decided to piss me off by switching to all the characters i wanted to use. ( they had them lower lvled than me, like lvl 50 while mine were lvl 90, and they all had 4 star artifacts while mine were fully built ) they REFUSED to use a character of theirs that was leveled up, and once the host started with me using thignari because they didn't have him, the person made comments about how he was weak, he didn't do any damage and that they did a lot more damage. Now, i'm gonna be honest, my tighnari isn't the best but he's not terrible. He's c2 and r3 and i'd say he has rather decent stats. ( 64/177 with 452 em ) but.. keep in mind, this person was saying that while using a lvl 55 ayaka that had 4 star artifacts. Either they had no confidence and they just wanted to bully me to feel stronger, or they just had that much confidence and felt the need to bully someone out of sprite.
people like this anger me so much, i ended up blocking them and reporting them.
I hope some ppl learn from this video..and maybe even from my comment. If ur ever host and someone is this shitty of a person, please kick them tf out.

It’s an unspoken rule that the host gets to play whoever they want. If I join a world and the host has my main, to bad for me, I fucking switch. If I wanted to make the rules and play how I want, then I wouldn’t join other ppl.

In asia server I've rarely do coop but most players are nice or just don't talk. Its usually the one with the highest character level who can use the character but some instances where you have the same level I would change then same person would also change in the end we end up changing back and forth and I would just pick a different character and no one will end up using the character we initially plan to use.
Sometimes, just for fun, I tend to try and run a trounce domain boss at high level with characters at a low level. It’s fun when other people in the server decide to tag along, even when we inevitably die instantly

I max built my Childe so I always use him when I can but at times other players will try and use him and usually I give in but it’s very upsetting since he is my favourite and I’ve worked on him for months and most of the time they r weaker than me.

I had someone do this to me, they changed into every character I changed into and just refused to start the domain, so I pulled out thoma and they didn't even have thoma so I made fun of them and they kicked me.

So I wanted to do a domain for my Kazuha build (which I lost my 50/50 to keqing but that’s a detail) alright and at the time I only had Xiao that was quite good. There was someone else that had Xiao and when we were preparing coop (like in the video) the person didn’t want to change it at first so I ask them “would you mind changing your character, xiao is my only well built one and I’d be more useful for the team if I take him”. They tell me “it’s not because you have it that I’m gonna change it” while I was typing my previous message (if you understand what I mean). I reply “ik I’m not the only one with it, I’m just saying I’d be more helpful if I have him than if I use a lvl 50 dull blade qiqi”
THEY LITERALLY REPLIED
“so ur saying I don’t have good characters??? You think your xiao is better than mine??” I just replied “man chile since when did I mention anything bad about your xiao”
The owner ended kicking us of his game but I came back and ended up making a friend lmao.

I had people, who were probably in on it, let me join their co-op and didn't start the domain, after about 10-15 minutes they started and chose my units, eventually i chose my lvl 40 aloy so they would have to carry cus "they so wanted to be those characters" they didnt start the domain and disbanded, this happened twice in a row...
I'm a Razor main, and I love doing domain's in co-op, so I've unfortunately encountered toxic players who believed ALL 4 stars are trash, especially the non-popular 4 stars.
I main Thoma, Chongyun and Freminet, so I totally understand lol
this is why I'm too scared to co op with people. I luckily just co op with my friends when I need help. And now I can do the domains myself .I don't think ill ever do the co op thing with strangers. I'm too nervous for that

As a Asia server player, I’ve never had this problem. Mostly everyone on that server is super sweet. I have never met anyone who was rude or disrespectful in any way.

I usually just switch and play diona or any support/sub dps to help others even if i trust my dps build
I once met a fella ayato main on raiden shogun’s domain, we kept losing until he switched off his ayato and i had the chance to use mine xD
He was very sweet and complemented my boba boy
Point is, even if you trust your build more, let others get the chance to use these characters if they picked first, at the end it’s a game and supposed to be fun
