Lmao don't get me wrong I'm cool with my recruiter (marine corps) he's helped me out a lot still reaches out to me, and we hang out at the office when I go home. With that being said I still have that level of respect for him as a fucking Sargent of the marines to fucking call him "bro" and act like he's my homeboy from back in the day. Do that shit in the fleet and watch what fucking happens.

So I really hope someone sees this messege as a safety reason, If you are alone in Atlanta Georgia (airport), I strongly suggest you are in a group of 2-4 if your walking around there. Main reason is because their wil be Con artists who will target soldiers who are not experienced . Ive traveled through Atlanta Georgia a couple times and that's what I see most commonly of soldiers who are about to go to basic or AIT. So other than that fine vlog.
Unknown PK what do they con artists do to con soldiers?
They mostly primarly ask for money by manipulating them by saying "ive been to war blah blah" "IED blew me up" best one ive heard was "my friend is dying in a hospital in FT Jackson and i need money for a taxi". Of course you can say No but about 70% of the time pre-basics would sometimes get there sense of pride of helping others so I don't blame them lol. To be honest there has been multiple times I had to step in and grab a security guard. its starting to annoy me.

I leave today to go to the hotel, and tomorrow I ship out. Nervous, but excited at the same time. Going to Fort Leanord Wood.

yup =) i only use my iphone nowadays for video footage. i filmed the couple of days that i had a free day because of graduation. they gave us our phones the day before graduation and during. everywhere is different though

2 weeks being active duty, for national guard and army reserve idk how long they take but awhile

overall dont bring too much. i only brought papers, the clothes i wore and a couple extra. my phone, charger, and laptop. in basic and reception, my items were locked up (phone, charger, laptop)

what made you choice the army more than any other branch
honestly, i was initially going to go into the air force but my asvab score wasnt high enough from what my friend told me about it, even though i didnt research anything with the air force. i saw army recruiters at my local mall at the time and i decided to ask them about joining so why not. then it lead to me just enlisting and right now its chill atm, but theres still bad times i go through. i have friends in the marines mostly, and i know from their basic training its pretty difficult, and my basic training experience was the easiest in my opinion. the only options in my area was marines, air force, navy, and army. i also thought of navy, but their more attention to detail than the army so i just decided overall the army since my grandpa was in the army till his passing

for me it took only 2 weeks because i chose active. for reserves/national guard idk. from what i know the only difference between reserves and federal guard is reserves covers you by federal while national guard is only by state

National Guard is usually always delayed entry. It takes anywhere between 2 months to 6 months to ship
You get to choose. You can push your BCT date up to one year from when you enlist, I believe. At the very least I know for Reserves you can push it seven months if you have school or something you need to finish.

Was running in basic hard?
for me at the start yes, because i wasnt use to running 2 miles but as time progressed i got use to it so its not so bad. my 2 mile run time at the start was 19 mins, then it went to 16 mins, and then now is 14 mins flat for a 2 mile.

depends really, cause sometimes we would run more than 2 miles and its on a road so we cant really tell how far until theres a checkpoint like a van or so. when i went to basic, we were assigned to different ability groups to show us where our place was at for our running times
