I really enjoy how Zerker wants them to take it serious even though they hammered the series. Dude wants to win more than NA.
Yeah they immediately made a joke out of it and started roasting him. Same thing happened when he punched a wall a few months ago Vulcan was meming about it then. I doubt this guy stays in NA much longer, but it depends on his other options. Doesn't seem like he wants to stay on C9, but he might not have a better choice. You need meme Koreans like Umti and Huni for NA, you cant have these Berserker types who demand perfection and want to chop your head off for not taking the game seriously. It's too much of a cultural clash.
@@Djfjfjrhhrjrhrhfj He's also been on senna duty and has not been dominant since his first season. Last split he was pretty mediocre not gonna lie. I also find it weird that he mentions something like that after a win, its bad team moral imo and would leave a sour taste in my mouth if I actually did try.
@@matthewminogue3276 He's still a top 2 ADC in the league with Yeon. Like all Korean imports, their mechanics deteriorate over time the longer they are in NA, so of course he's not as good as he was his first year.
Sure if he says that any everyone is tryharding then of course it's bad for morale. I don't think that's the case here though. Jojo specifically has a no fucks given attitude at all times.

He's not ignorant about the value of having some fun and leaning into the memes, but he also wants to win. Berserker is not a boring one-dimensional player
@@daddio89 I’m really not. Those Koreans are super serious and put winning above all else. If he feels like his team doesn’t care as much as he does he will leave. Did you not see the video of him slamming a door just a delete weeks ago because Jojo was trolling a scrim? You’re not reading enough into this
Thanatos has been super aggressive and I love to see it. Even if things don't always go perfect, that aggression is needed.
If he could just call his shot a bit more when he goes ham like that he’ll really pop off. When he goes balls in you can see even c9 looks surprised.
@@donutlie315Which is kinda weird because the others (mainly Jojo, from these clips) are really quick to push an angle to fight even when Thanatos has called several times that he's pushing in side or he won't be there. Even the one in game 2 where Thanatos went deep trying to kill Zeri and it looked troll like he baited the team into staying, it was off a Jojo call to push deep and how Zeri has no flash and to keep fighting in the choke even after Thanatos died.

I get what bezerker means but overall I think these guys look way more dialed in and cohesive this split. Last split was a wake up call and amped them up. Also Vulcan is having a hell of a split so far

Keep it up with the comms-vids - the small things from Berserker swearing, Mid Jgl yapping, Sup chillin and Top saying "I'm Fine" are great o7
Blaber and Jojo synergy seems so much better, Blaber less selfish and Jojo dictating play around mid lane. Team is all on the same page a lot more macro wise too. Comms are a little cleaner but Blaber and Jojo yap so bad during fights sometimes idk how the other players focus lmao
Yea. I think comms can be a bit more clear,direct and more preciss, but it look more cohesive compared to last split.
At least everyone got the same gameplan and following it through
@@RomnysGonzalez I think it works on weaker mid laners, but smarter opponents will waste blabers time knowing that Jojo could be baited into asking for help.
Berserker still wants the team to take every game seriously & clean out closely from ahead but Jojo playing loose & for fun isn't really a good look. I don't like how the rest of the team besides Vulcan started joking about taking it more seriously after, that just makes Berserker feel like it's hopeless to speak up in the future and is probably how it led to the first door punching incident
I don't think it was the right time to call out to play it serious after a stomp. I'm under the impression that he always brings it up and its really shitty for team morale. Its Reapers job as a coach to adress this with the players in question and Reaper isn't known to enjoy slackers. It just felt very awkward to me anyways and just not the right time. It was also directed at Jojo which makes it even more awkward.
Yeah it was super cool to hear "I guess it doesn't matter we won" followed by Vulcan saying "no it does"
@@matthewminogue3276 I thought it was a fine time to call it out, the game ended so he's not distracting them in the middle of the game & it's just a reflection of how much he wants to win and his team as well. Habits & discipline are formed through game play so even if regular season doesn't matter, you can form bad habits if you don't take it seriously, I agree it's on the coach to help remedy the situation as well.

Eh, it's fine. If anything, it makes Thanatos look even more giga because he handled a 3v1 (with a near full wave at the turret too) with literally no help.

really feels like they don't take advantage of the pressure Thanatos creates. idk it just seems like lpl or lck jgs would feast at the opportunities he's creating. maybe its just not blaber's playstyle? but then again he would go out of his way for fudge to get leads so idk. all i know is they got a major upgrade top and it seems like he's creating all for not.
Comms are still too messy, but better than last week.
If fudge tried to do this he would have died and probably blame his team

@@dylanroessler6810 Oh i dont want him talking, i want the comms to be much cleaner so he can understand his team better. That way he can join the team on the plays more often
Thanatos saying "We can end! We can end!" while trying to get everyone to hit the turret with Blaber giving a sarcastic "You think we can, Thanatos?" is the reason why NA will permanently be shit at this game.
...That just shows Thanatos inexperience. He thought it was necessary to call that when C9 had already won the fight. He was being captain obvious saying something that all the veterans already knew.
C9 has experience with is going 2-8 over the last two worlds, 0-6 at MSI 2023, and missing out on MSI 2024. The only experience they have is losing. 😂
