    Great video!
I got 3 out of 5. I also thought there would be at least one judoka and maybe a formula one driver in this list (probably Takuma Sato).

Thanks a lot for your comment! I definitely should have included Sato in my honorable mentions. He had his career in F1 cut short but he was a beast at the Indy 500!

Someday, it will be too hard to choose between Ichiro and Ohtani

I hope Ohtani will have the same career as Ichiro, hopefully with more titles :D Thank you for your comment!

    na o tsuranerudarou.
If we were to make the top 10, nearly half of the ranking would be baseball players, along with Yuzuru Hanyu, Naoya Inoue, and legendary judokas and wrestlers.

Watch the video again mate. I picked one per sport. I know this is controversial, but yuzu isn't the most known skater in Japan's history. Let's agree to disagree, no need to resort to insults. Trust me mate, I do know a thing or two about Japan.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the video.

Tomokazo Harimoto is not that known as i thought he was in Japan

I think he is quite famous, unfortunately, table tennis just isn't as popular as the sports I talked about here. The fact he never won gold in either the olympics or the world championnships doesn't help.
I intend to make a video about Japanese Table Tennis one day. In the meantime, you can check my video about Chinese Table Tennis if you are interested.

    Inoue isn't popular in japan?
I thought boxing was huge their.

He definitely is popular in the martial arts community. The thing is that martial arts are just not that popular in the overall population. I was surprised but barely any martial artist made it in any tops I checked. I guess mainstream sports will always have a broader appeal, especially since boxing is only viewable through a paywall.
In any case, I hope you enjoyed the video. Don't hesitate to subscribe if you did, it would help me a lot :D
