I think he is quite famous, unfortunately, table tennis just isn't as popular as the sports I talked about here. The fact he never won gold in either the olympics or the world championnships doesn't help. I intend to make a video about Japanese Table Tennis one day. He definitely is popular in the martial arts community. The thing is that martial arts are just not that popular in the overall population. I was surprised but barely any martial artist made it in any tops I checked. I guess mainstream sports will always have a broader appeal, especially since boxing is only viewable through a paywall.
