I started collecting in 1968. My father was a Sgt. in a US Army combat engineer battalion. D Day, Battle of the bulge , Luxembourg, Germany, Austria. I still have a NSKK pin that he brought home. He did have a luger but another GI stole it from him .Your english is excellent. My grandfather on my mothers side was from Russia.
A beautiful collection of historical significance. Collections like this must be preserved and shown less we forget the horrors of the past. More significant, is the wonderful English spoken by our collector.
This may sound stupid but could you do a video on how to begin collecting these items and where to look to get decent buys? I’m very Interested in This stuff
I am French and I watch each of your videos. Being also a collector of daggers, it is a real pleasure to continue to learn about the suptility of these pieces :)
Alex my friend lets talk about that very nice NSKK tagged dagger you have, you know i want this item for my collection it would fit perfectly. Great video very nice collection indeed. Jeffery Richards collector
Вы молодец Алексей!Продолжайте в том же духе!Всегда с обожением смотрю ваши суперстримы!Я тоже коллектсионирую такие вещи и многово от вас узнал про холодного оружие.Лайк!
Happy 2021 Alex. Thank you for sharing, It would be great to see a video of your personal Militaria collection and how you display it at your home. Cheers, Eddie
Nice antique military collectables. Your a serious collector with very rear and well taken care of items from the pass, a lot of history on those tables.
You did very well on your American trip. You speak English well. I have no trouble understanding what you are saying. Hopefully, you will have a good Christmas and New Year this year as well.
Sweet collection Alex I'm a faithful subscriber watch every video you and Mr wittman are my favorite I learn a lot from y'all I have nice collection myself I'm having a hard time finding a scabbard for a army 1938 I met a guy that it was in his family since WW2 his grandfather acquired it off a soilders he got it pulled it out of scabbard and cut portapee also I now have the dagger any chance somebody can help me with a scabbard
Your English is fine. Had no problems understanding. Really nice stuff. I collect other 3rd Reich items, so badges and daggers are out of my realm. But I learn a lot watching these videos. -Kelly
All the best Alex. If I will pick one item from your collection, it will be the SS Dagger for sure ;-) Can I have it? I started collecting also ,have one NSKK ,some other daggers , 3 Iron crosses ,a learning about much more. Also collecting Photography .Take care , and don't stop posting more videos
Many people think this is in poor taste, especially here in the U.S., well I am one american that says FUCK those ppl, because these items are BEAUTIFUL, HISTORICAL, AND EXTREMELY DECORATIVE. JUST GORGEOUS 😊
Happy new year Alex, wow you have done really well with what you have bought,,,, second I think the word you wer looking for ,I really enjoy your videos ,stay safe and wash your feet
@@alexwarstory 👑👍 very very nice! Im planing something similar in one european country but on much smaller scale, few days picking up some sabres for me, and enjoy the country. Great work brother! 👍👍
@@alexwarstory yes, it is yours, just like every other purchase that dope makes. Some moral Karen trying to make you feel bad. HOBbIX yCnEXOB, TOBAPNWN!
Hi Alex love the videos. May I ask, what is your role in all of this, hobby wise? Are you a buyer for investors or do you purchase for yourself? I have been to Moscow several times and I can categorically say that the antique stores there are very expensive compared to anywhere else.
I am collector and buyer for investors who wants to buy high quality stuff. I am collecting and exploring all this things also. Taking pictures and videos of original stuff for to share it in social media and TH-cam
I think it would be nice if the Germans could openly buy stuff back , but basically you lose a war people get to take home your weapons thats always happened . i have German weapons that my family took as war trophy's . I wouldn't be annoyed at Germans having British weapons they captured
The Germans started the war. That's true! But still I think it's a shame that these items are now in a country where most collectors treat them as if it were something where there was nothing bad behind them! Also bothers me if any American collectors think they must have, for example, 25 Hj daggers! It's enough if you only have 4, for example. In Germany, people are satisfied with you and deal with the topic critically and don't pose around with it!
@@bearsagainstevil A distinction must also be made between captured firearms and trophies such as flags or daggers. If you capture firearms and keep using them in war, I think that's fine. But if you take such trophies with you, that's outrageous in my opinion! My teacher was simply stolen from his grandfather's dagger from the Air Force apartment and the top hat he wore at the wedding from my great-grandfather and those were all Americans and I hate the Americans who did this to my ancestors and those who did this to my teacher up to now today!
I'm not an expert on WWII stuff but a lot of this looks like reproductions. I hope I'm wrong. Repros fill U.S. gun shows, buy the way, and unscrupulous sellers will tell you it's "mint."
Beautiful stuff! Nothing left for us anymore unfortunately. :(
Wdym theres tons of auctions with this stuffs
You certainly have a truly nice collection. I have been following your videos, and your English is fine.

Nice collection, soon you need a room like mister Witmann
holy shit!!! all bagged recently ?!?!? MIND BLOWING
What about the katana? You skipped it when you covered the Russian swords. Beautiful collection!
That second award for Iron cross is called “Spange”
in English would that be the equivalent to a clasp
Precisely, he was asking for the terminology in English, not German.
Genau genommen wäre es eine sogenannte "Wiederholungsspange" für Veteranen, die das EK 1 oder 2 bereits im 1. WK erhalten haben.
