Coach Prime is more than just a coach. As a teacher when you’re around certain young people who have so much potential you have no choice but you help put more opportunities in front of them and just watch them blossom. I see great things in the future of these great young ladies. Bless up to Coach Prime continue to do his calling and inspiring the lives of these young people.

oh lawd.. the JSU peeps gonna start hating on them for saying Colorado is better than JSU lol... God bless these young ladies...I had that same feeling leaving my hometown heading to college. I was scared nervous but excited.. But leaving home was the best thing for me and my career. I learned so much about life and my survival being out of my comfort zone. Being nervous is how life teaches you and excels you. You are more vulnerable when your nervous, you also tend to listen and understand better!

I hope them JSU crabs (if that doesn't apply to you, then you shouldn't be bothered) don't continue to show their ignorant mindset and send these beautiful young Queens negative energy. Start? They already have now they see how certain institutions work n things suppose to work. U take what they experience and merge it with hbcu traditions you'll have the perfect institution for our kids but we have hurdles
If someone has an issue then that's their problem, not these young ladies. Let's continue to send them POSITIVE energy only
And the sad thing is they weren't really talking about better as far as facilities but in the attitudes of the people at the school. Like when they were in the bookstore and everyone was so helpful instead of helping them with attitude.
Why would anyone find what she said offensive? Most HBCU graduates are aware of or experience the difference in the process/procedure at PWI vs HBCUs. Especially if you attend a PWI for graduate school. As a JSU alum, I am very excited for both young ladies. I want them to excel while continuing their education at Colorado. Hopefully, their experience as trainers leads them to fruitful careers in sports medicine.
I love see young people that get it. Coach Prime is the goat for empowering so many with a opportunity of a life time. Blessings 🙏🏾

I am a Native Coloradan and have been a CU Buffaloes fan since 1975. I have four adult daughters, and regardless of these young ladies attending an HBCU or a PWI, they're going to be just fine. They got that Vibe and great Energy!!!

Deion Sanders got his college degree from HBCU--Talladega College in 2020. Neely got his college degree from HBCU--JSU. Neely must have really enjoyed his HBCU experience. He was at the JSU-Alcorn BBall game on Saturday, 2/18/23. Great culture, Great people, Great education, Great History of Excellence. Thank God for HBCUs.
Neely absolutely loved his HBCU experience - specifically at Jackson State - that’s why Neely will always be a donor, season ticket holder and a recruiter for his Dear Old College Home. How this video you’re commenting on runs counter to that - Neely has no idea.

Since 1877 @ JSU, Our parents, grandparents, forefathers --fought hard to keep JSU alive and well, in very imperfect circumstances. Their dedication and those who followed ---allowed us to have our own and enjoy what we both enjoyed this past Saturday, 2/18/23, at the JSU/Alcorn BBall game. The work continues and we welcome all supporters.

Beatiful interview, Uncle Neely. What womderful young ladies who have hit the ground running and are so appreciative of what God has given them through Coach Prime. They are serious as trainers and as students and are an integral part of this Colorado program. I am glad that they are so in awe of this campus and the curriculum. They have also brought the JSU spirit to Colorado with their love of their parents and their community there.

I’m really getting sick of this HBCU vs PWI issue. Me being an alum from an HBCU I’m proud of these young laddies and the opportunity they getting with Coach Prime. Some of y’all be really thinking we against coach Prime but there’s more of us cheering for CU.

@Larry, Mr. Larry, HBCU vs PWI is only an issue for those that make it an issue. We all know that in this life, there is always going to be something or someone vs something or someone, so if you don't have an issue with PWI's then don't stress about others options or issues.
I too am an HBCU Alum and my daughter is a PWI alum, so my take is whatever higher learning institutions that each student and their parents think is best for them.
