I have to be honest: THANKS. Today I played a nice game with my Skaven team, and I won 3-0 thanks to your advices and your podcast. My gutter runner with Wrestle and Dauntless performed really good, it's a formidable skills combination for such a good player. I hope he will spread more terror during the league.

Elven Union - best passers, best dashers, and yet only tier 2! Think I might take these guys to a tournament and get that sweet extra starting SPP
That's a great idea! Honestly I think they're going to over-perform!
The ultimate test of dashability must be the ability to score a 1 turn TD - and the movement 9 of gutter runners helps them immensely to do just that!
Rigth from the get-go you only need two chain-pushes to be in scoring range (btw a theory-thursday about chain-pushes and how to use them for different effects would be awesome) and after only two TD you give the guy sprint and then you only need one (1!) chain-push to get him in range for that infamous one-turner...
Further down the line you give him sure feet for that ekstra stability on the rushes and mayby even two heads to help him dodge through enemy tackle zones.

I do completly agree with the Skaven and the Woods as first 2 places, no matter who's First. The reason Is that gutters like Woods catchers/dancers doesn't Need lots of skills to be immediatly effective on the get go and in the long run even a rookie can work with other more experienced team mates. Somehow even the little skinks works just fine stock. The situation it's very different and dependable for Union and Dark. First they Will Need much more time in Building the Ideal number of positionals and second they Will Need some essential skill to start getting reliables. Underworld.. dont know.. never knew them as Dash over bash but It was in the past with Just skitter as regular spp sucker in tournaments.
High Elves gotta be in the top 5 and a (very) honorable mention for Slann; while not a "dash" they can pogo stick away, around and over you like NOBODY else.

Where the argument for lizardmen are also bash so they are not as dash begins to crumble for me, is when two teams who are quite a lot of throwncatch instead of dash come up second and first. In fact for me the dashiest elves are dark elves because they are less inclined to throw.
I kinda agree with you... it's more of a Top 5 TD scoring teams... but Dash sounds better cause the other category is Bash.
Yeah it really seems to come to the definition of dash. For me it seemed obvious that it is opposed to bashing and walking and throwing and catching. So picking up and dashing. The best at running to put it shorter. Pro and wood elves are great at running but I would not call it their defining strength.
Ahh Sorry guys! I probably should've been clearer on the whole Bash/Dash thing! I totally included throwing game teams in the Dash angle - I guess the best way to sum up Dash (in my mind, and totally only in my mind!) was just "can score TDs like crazy"! :D

I don't even use my Elven Union Apocathary on the 2nd last turn of the game to heal a MNG for fear that I'll suffer a characteristic reduction (or death) on the last turn.
The best thing about the Elven Union passing game isn't the set pieces, it's broken field where there are players all over the pitch. If the blitzers can spring the ball scoring from close to your own endzone in one turn is quite possible. I have done it more than once. And there is nothing more spectacular in the game than scoring from 24 squares out.

@@BoneheadPodcast I meant as your next top 5. I love Dash over Bash. I got into Blood Bowl thinking it was a Sport game with Fantasy aspect. Turns out it was a Fantasy War Game with a Sport motif.
A sport in which killing the entire opposition is a feasible strategy....I can get behind that.
This of course needs a definition of what dash means. "Guaranteed" 2 turn touchdown would be my selection. My would be yours with change of Underworld with Dark Elves. Elven Union is really easy 1st as they can drip a few catchers in the 7-9 moves to score line and have a throw or running game after that. (Those re-rollable odds are with them).
But Underworld needs a bunch of skills to be able to do what you want them to do. Dark elves just have a decent bash and a fast(ish) team. I am hard pressed as to choose to use Dark elves or Elven Union. "Elven Fuckery Foundation" in any case as the team name as I have sukubus wyches and they can do all of the elves with a little position running. Last season Union team of Elven Fuckery Foundation got a bit of a beating in the league facing a 1800TV team with their 1000TV starting roster... Dead blizer did not do well for the legue.
