One thing that guided me away from Protestantism and to the Holy Catholic Church was the letter from Pliny the Younger to the Emperor. Pliny describes how everyone in his province has abandoned the pagan temples and ancient traditions (perhaps stretching back to the Ice Age). Pliny was freaking out about this. He captured and tortured "Deaconess" but could not understand this new religion. 100 years after the Crucifixion the Priesthood and Liturgy was established. Pagans were freely choosing this new religion over their ancient superstitions. The only conclusion I could reach was that Christ was real and Christianity (Catholicism) actual truth. I joined the Holy Church in Feb 2000 and my whole life changed completely.

Canceling the Synod is NOT going to make it go away. The synod needs to take place to reveal who is involved and the way each are voting. Just because there is a synod, unless i am not understanding, does not mean that the points of the document will be adopted. We need to know who the good guys are and the bad guys. May the Lord make this be revealing.
It is not difficult to get the feeling that a great chastisment is on the way. You can just feel it coming and deservedly so. I would not want to be Francis or the pedo priests, when it arrives.

We can't get around doing thorough "homework". I'm a former Jesuit Seminarian, received the
( very basic) Philosophy segment, but got no further, because I was told I didn't have a
vocation to the Jesuits. However, what I DID receive has stood me in good stead, because it
had taught me how to think clearly and "with the Church" on essential teachings and rooting
out errors, which this Priest (God and St. Peter, the Saints, and the Agnels support him!) has
delivered "in spades."
I've just turned 75, i.e. older ... and wiser because of that Ignatian formation! Thanks
be to God .. and His Blessed Mother. She coaches us too! .. simply consecrate your whole
being to her Immaculate Heart. We'll she steer you into errors? Of course not. "Mary doesn't
look to your past. She comes to those who WANT TO LOVE HER." (St. Gabriel Possenti,
1838).

Don't be frightened. At one time there were three men all claiming to be Pope. The Holy office has been tainted many times before but the Holy Church survives. Peter Zani man don’t I know it. Our 10:00 Sunday Mass is ALWAYS said EF (TLM). My kids probably don’t realize just yet how good they have it. Imagine this, if you will. My kids have no idea how to participate in a New Mass. They only know the Latin Mass! They have NEVER held the Eucharist. They have only ever received kneeling on the tongue. Thank you Lord in heaven for such blessings.

One thing that guided me away from Protestantism and to the Holy Catholic Church was the letter from Pliny the Younger to the Emperor. Pliny describes how everyone in his province has abandoned the pagan temples and ancient traditions (perhaps stretching back to the Ice Age). Pliny was freaking out about this. He captured and tortured "Deaconess" but could not understand this new religion. 100 years after the Crucifixion the Priesthood and Liturgy was established. Pagans were freely choosing this new religion over their ancient superstitions. The only conclusion I could reach was that Christ was real and Christianity (Catholicism) actual truth. I joined the Holy Church in Feb 2000 and my whole life changed completely.

Canceling the Synod is NOT going to make it go away. The synod needs to take place to reveal who is involved and the way each are voting. Just because there is a synod, unless i am not understanding, does not mean that the points of the document will be adopted. We need to know who the good guys are and the bad guys. Well, that seems clear enough: There are as many gods as the social construct will allow; no one can say that another persons beliefs aren't valid; no one needs the gospel brought to them; Catholic priests should not "look" like Christian clergy in any visible way; stop telling people that they are sinners in need of a savior and that you are there to present the gospel of God's grace; collectivism/globalism are just rebranding of communism
In short - do not make disciples of all nations.

if you think the pope is an anti pope, that's all the more reason to pray for him, because he is a man in grave danger of going to hell and leading many others with him. Also, I'd be very careful about calling him an anti pope, although it seems very likely, things are not always as they seem, and uncertainty is better than being a possible heretic.
