What a sweet couple. They obviously appreciated being able to chat with Mike about the ISB etc & their singing & playing together was intimate & unpretentious. Hope they thrive & prosper in 2023 & that they come to Bristol soon so we can hear them 'live'.
I think if I was 'interviewing' Mike Heron I would not spend all the time talking about myself and my band that has so far gone nowhere when he has so much to tell us. I don't think they even mention the name of his book, or at least not before I got fed up, and it is not in the description either.
A very innocuous couple; vomitingly sweet and meaningless. Mike looked like he was pulling on his Scientology reserves to patronise them with his presence.
I have been trying to reach Mike for ages I’m an American fan and have had no such luck. Williamson I did I have a poster of the 5000 Spirits or Layers of the Onion I’d love him to sign
Hi , I don't have the answer to hand but I will ask the band and post a reply asap. Copies of their albums are available for sale through the Wigtown Festival Company, 11 North Main Street, Wigtown.
Hi. I have just spoken to Ben from the Bookshop Band and he tells me that the particular song has not been recorded yet, but they are hoping to feature it on an album later this year. The Bookshop Band do have a Facebook presence if you want to keep an eye on that so you can see when the albums is released. The Wigtown Festival Company will be stocking it in our shop when it is so please feel free to get in touch.
Mike Heron doesn't look like he's 75, that's for sure. :) Thanks for uploading this great interview. Beautiful song too.
Thank's so much,Mike and Robin.I was so happy listening the ISB when I was young and still I' am
Great song! Enjoyed that and Mike is a legend!

Such a great song at the end! Total surprise!
That was a enjoyable discussion and the song at the end was beautiful.
The song is gourgeous and sounds a lot like the ISB, without being derivative. Marvellous!
I loved "Where's the Ring"? Did this duo record an album? What was the xylophone-type instrument? I'd love to get one!
When I was 17, I wanted to marry Mike Heron! lol Still do!
I didn’t know Mike Heron wrote a book 😶😊 Nice conversation and song.
Lovely.

What's the organ sounding instrument called?
Harmonium - Used a lot in North Indian kirtan chanting, brought to India by Scottish missionaries in the 18th/19th century.
why does mike heron have an english accent
It's all about them. Mike is sidelined here.
I don't agree at all. They are three people exploring an era
