This is our favorite town to stay in Costa Rica! Gingerbread is one of the top rated restaurants in the whole country and my favorite restaurant period. Lots of little inns and rental homes, highly recommend staying here
@@sights.sounds you bet! Tinajas is a great restaurant and inn on the lake, best sunsets, great food and live music sometimes. Hotel Los Heroes up the road is a Swiss chalet with a train that goes up the mountain to a restaurant with amazing views There are a couple little “parks” not far from Gingerbread restaurant where you can picnic and swim in the lake. Lake kayaking available too, enjoy!
Yes it's very nice for sure. The one consideration I'd have is the distance to any bigger towns. If you're into that remote life then it definitely seems like a great place.

Awesome thanks for the info. Any cool places to check out in the area for the next time I go through?

Cool I'll try to check out as many as I can next time I'm up there!
Great town, so many places to stay with Arenal Volcano view as well.
It is really cool, I want to head back there and do some more destinations in the area soon.
Thanks for showing this little town.
My pleasure.
We’re considering renting a house near neuvo arenal for our family…is it a decent area to travel with younger kiddos?
