I stalk your channel for these door kickers vids, they seem to be getting more rare on the channel. So many unique maps I wish you would do, they are sooooooo good.
Fun upload. I did this one by leapfrogging up and advancing around the bus and taking control of the jersey barrier fighting position. Then I could control all access to my guys and the friendlies with just three guys. Fourth guy did a one-man-clear into the building to recover the friendlies.
Yup, that one is really hectic. What worked best for me was first rushing up the east side, with one DMR each covering the street and the back alley north of the apartments, and two assaulters pushing up the sidewalk south of the apartments. Almost no enemy looks your way, and all the reinforcements walk right into one of the snipers' killzones at pretty long range.
There was this one mission in the first doorkickers called Sky Pub, Since I doubt you’ll post anything dk1 related, I’ll just say Sky pub is one of the most badass missions out there. You gotta swarm this penthouse with four operators, however the building is packed with assassins looking to kill the VIP. You step out of the elevator and not even 15 seconds later, professional hitmen with heavy rifles and armor come as reinforcements on the other elevator. Its so insane, I first only geared up lightly because most of the enemies are usually just thugs, then that damned elevator opened up and slaughtered my entire team. I was honestly giddy that a mission had actually gotten so hectic and violent
Talking about dk1 The map controlled pairs played reamainds me a lot of a dk1 second campaing map were you had to escort an vip and was map of the same size and similar buildings
This was a tough one to get 3 stars. I had my MG and sniper move north to the market, while the two assaulters moved along the bus. Once the MG is inside the market he has a pretty good view of the whole left, and some of the north route plus he's in cover. Sniper moves to the orange car to further cover the north. Then assault element moved from the bus to the flipped car, then into the building. The enemy has unlimited spawns so it's all about moving quickly before they start to out spawn your squad.
I Think That Door Kickers 2 Devs Should Make It Like That A Truck Comes In With Guys Filled In It And Stop At A Empty Area And Drop Them Off, Except Of The Enemies Spawning On The Edge Of The Map.
OOOoohhh. THAT's the point of having heavier or lighter gear and the covert/overt status. You can trade equipment for better and better entry points. That's actually genius for replay value.
Awesome video as always Papa Pairs, I'm glad you did this mission, because it is one of best of the QRF update missions, so much so I tried it with all the available units!(it didn't go so well for Nowheraki SWAT...) I personally deployed my MG and DMR upward and next to the door outside the market to let them watch from afar whilst I made my assault and grenadier approach from the north alleyway.
I have done this with Rangers and CIA (the replay of the former is on my channel) - your tactics with the emphasis on speed and violence of action were the basis of the Ranger run, with the Support providing cover fire while the Assault elements ran like hell. CIA was harder, but not impossible - although there were some nailbiters for sure. I'll consider running SWAT for this, thanks to your inputs!
Map seems to have been inspired by Door Kickers 1's Urban Madness map, layout is quite similar with the open streets, 4 buildings and bus in the middle.
Which was even more hectic since you don't have frags nor LMGs if you were playing vanilla. There's also a version of Urban Madness where you have to escort the VIP from the top right corner to the bottom left corner with only 4 officers.
Good ol’ bounding overwatch. Pushing north from the southeast corner while absolutely suppressing west yielded the best results for most of us it seems
Started on the Eastern side, left one SBF element on the corner, pushed an assault element fast to our boys, cleared the building then exfilled. It was a good map.
I put a marksman at the truck in front of the MATV facing west, a grenadier and an assaulter pushing north first to secure that north alley facing the allied team's flank, and I have a MG rushing west through the spawn alley to the cop car facing north. the grenadier stays in the north alley so all I really got is the 1 assaulter pushing forward by himself while everyone covers I tried this with CIA and SWAT too, so basically you want a MG covering the north road, and a DMR covering the west road. Forget about the east side no one's coming from there. A 3rd man with preferably a DMR covering the north alley facing the pinned team's flank, but any gun that can shoot long range will do (VSS, RPK, etc.), and a 4th man first pushing up north with the north alley guy, clear the DFP at the intersection by the bus, then use the tanker between the NE and SE buildings as cover to quickly sweep that store to the SE, should be about 1-2 enemies there, then he needs to make a mad dash toward the car where CPG here decided to have his battle position, toss a nade to the NW corner window of the SW building taking out the sniper (or use a RPG, or whatever you like… obviously peeking him is not a good idea), make ANOTHER mad dash into the allied building, grab all 3 guys (if they're still alive, lol) and run SE toward the MG, through the alleyway next to the spawn and to the exfil, collapse with everyone else too you got this Do be careful with the SW building though, somewhere around 1:10 ig time a few enemies could come out of there, so time your exfil accordingly
Pushing up the east side and then going through the north route was the easy way through this one. I originally tried sending one guy to support the west side but he gets slaughtered.
I’ve gone in hard on adding team mods from Nexus. Probably my favorite so far is the Rainbow 6 Classic mod. IOV is really good as well, adding a fun merc faction and retro delta force based off historical operations.
i played it blind and all blacked out gathering intel while on target. i rode the alley all the way to the north and then made a left. needless to say i left allot of black areas on the map when the guys exfilled
It makes me happy that I a 15 year old did this level without losing a ranger or a contractor on my first try but the veteran ranger cannot. Pairs if you wanna go ahead and put a good word in with the 75th it would be very appreciated.😂
@@ControlledPairsGaming I’ve listened to them all, and will continue, wish there were more but I know you’re busy lol. I appreciate them, though 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hard RNG element on this one; sometimes one of your objective guys gets wiped by an RPG in the first few seconds of deployment.. Took a few tries, but MG and DMR on overwatch dealing with reinforcements while two assaults RV'd the contractors eventually did the trick
You got me on to Door Kickers! Something I found out about the game is its super easy to do small, building based maps with high mobility, suppressors, and a spy cam. Find em, line em up, knock em down!
@@ControlledPairsGaming In the earlier updates they used to be point-accurate and would kill the rangers in a couple shots from across the map. Screw these guys.
still gotta be one of my favorite missions already in the game, there's just something about the thrill of trying to get to the contractors as they desperately try and survive what feels like an alamo type no win scenario. I don't know about the contractors hiding in the building, but the second I saw those explosions I was hit with a huge "ohhh shit this is the real deal!!" dopamine hit fr. I hope they make more similar maps where you play as a QRF
well that went about as well as i thought it was going to after you said your plan was essentially a frontal assault over open ground through enemy lines lol. i would have pushed up the east side. covered the main road with the MG and then approach the contractors along the north. it would mean a long run down that ally way but i figure you only have on direction to worry about versus every single angle under the sun going the way you did XD
Interesting. When i took this one on i decided to go around the back of the building to the north east and pull the contractors out the back. That jersey barrier battle position was a bitch and a half for sure lol
It's a little more video game-y than I prefer, but I found that the most effective way to 3-Star this one was simply to bring your team fully loaded with smoke grenades and just lay a blanket of smoke straight to the target. Assuming the RNG doesn't kill one of the commandos before you reach them, you can sprint in and out directly through your own smoke and never fire a shot.
I opted to take over the machine gunner nest by the large apartment building, go past the large truck, and break in from the side to keep the guys safe, then just do what you had said of having the guys cover each other as they fall back. I also had a sniper by the normal starting truck that perfectly dealt with all of the reinforcements coming from the left side.
when i 3 starred it i went in whith the heavyest gear, three assault scars and a saw, used the saw to cover the norden entrance and got the assaulters to move in at the allies
That was pretty cool. I just sent all four to the area with the bus and concrete barriers because it has great cover and a decent view of both enemy spawn areas, then just sent one guy in to meet up with the rest of the assaulters. If it weren't for a suicide bomber I would have got everybody out alive.
After watching a bunch of your videos on this i decided to buy it because it's really interesting and seems fun. Going to see how it goes and i also will be using the tier one overhaul mod. Not going to be using the blind mod yet though because that would just be too difficult when i'm just starting out.
