'Nobody Protected Us': Russian Civilians In Sudzha Angry, Unsure Of Their Future | Ukraine Incursion
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 20 ก.ย. 2024
- Ukrainian forces launched an incursion into Russia’s Kursk region in early August, capturing the town of Sudzha. This offensive, the largest on Russian soil since World War II, has left Russian civilians in Sudzha reacting with anger and uncertainty. Many feel abandoned by their government and have requested evacuation to Ukrainian-controlled territory.
Ukrainian troops have been supplying food, water, and medicine to the local population, who report being treated well by Ukrainian forces. Soldiers have also shown locals images of destroyed Ukrainian cities, aiming to highlight the consequences of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Meanwhile, Sudzha remains under threat, with regular shelling from Russian forces.

Considering vlad doesn't value the lives of his own troops, the lack of concern for civilians should shock no one.
That will cost Putin dearly in the long run. The people in Kursk region will now find out what Putin's death squads have done in Ukraine then realise how generously they've been treated by the Ukrainian troops.
Perhaps the Kursk, Belgorod, Bryansk, and Voronezh oblasts might end up becoming part of a singular “buffer state” established on Russian soil by Ukraine as a means to keep Ukrainian cities away from enemy fire. Also, if Rostov Oblast ends up in Ukraine’s established buffer zone, Russia’s hold over southern and eastern Ukraine (including Crimea) would be outright doomed.

Imagine being treated better by an occupying force then your own government. That as got to change some minds, right?
That is what we call "Liberation" in the civilized parts of the world (outside russia).
As Russians they are imprinted at birth to submit to authority. If the Ukrainians are less cruel than their own government so much the better.
I think it will, but in the end these people will have to go back to being Russian serfs, unless they organise for a change.
You can imagine whatever, depends on your imagination skills but thats not true 😅🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
@@СветланаКлименко-н3м So everything in the video. Including what that Russian citizen said, was faked by the west to justify their nazi war against the honest and innocent Russian Republic?
At 1:50, "Nobody beats you" just sticks out to me. How broken are these people that they expect a beating for receiving aid of any sort?
Internal FSB troops are used by Putin to keep the Russian population in line and they're complete bastards.
It was probably one of those accusation-confessions that feature so prominently in Russian propaganda.
Might not be an expectation in general, but more the function of unending state media propaganda. If you look back to 2014-2015 when Ukraine would retake towns in the Donbas at the start of the war, you will hear a lot of similar statements to these because the residents in those towns had spent a year or more being relentlessly indoctrinated to believe that if Ukraine retook territory in the Donbas, there would be wide spread reprisals in the forms of violence and forced starvation. When those didn't materialize, it did indeed change the way a lot of people living there saw the conflict, although their perspectives were never gathered and shared by international media, so most people didn't learn the lesson.
That guy must’ve lived thru some serious soviet times.
Ukraine is just so much more civilized
😂
It's also because the Ukrainians know they will lose western backing if their troops mistreat civilians in the same way Russia's have in Ukraine.

While Russian soldiers treat ordinary Ukrainian citizens with barbaric cruelty and forced compliance, Ukraine’s soldiers treat ordinary Russian citizens with compassion and humanity.
That should send a pretty obvious message to the international community as to who the aggressor of this war is (as if it wasn’t already obvious enough from day one)
The difference in civility is crazy. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦

Just that.
@@Dudush90seriously? You don't understand the difference in both situations? Really?
@Dudush90 are you effing kidding me? I can think of a few reasons why there were still civilians in Bucha during the surprise attack and invasion on multiple fronts (they couldn't pull hundreds of busses out of thin air or where needed elsewhere, not everyone wanted to leave, people didn't realized yet that Russia's aim is genocide against them, etc....). That the massacres occurred under Russian occupation is an undeniable fact, despite what Russian disinformation claims.

Hope Ukrainians move there in the future
It amazes me how every Russian who encounters Ukrainian warriors say the same thing. "Nobody beats us." Makes you wonder if that's what they're used to.
Imagine having your own people wanting to evacuate to the opposing country because they treat them better than your own government while you also shell them too. Good job Putin.
It is a terrible thing that civilians must endure this before discovering how their leader is letting them down, why he has brought such hardship on their nation. To be told one thing and then learn so rudely that they had been lied to.
*playing the worlds smallest violin for these people*
Then you're Putin's best friend, racist.
These people were Putin's first victims. You stood by and did nothing for decades, and now you're pissing on them? Shame.
This has to stop
It's pathetic in the Kremlin that locals to admit that the intruders (Ukrainians) to come in and help/feed us, when the Kremlin had been neglecting them. They might as well vote in a referendum to join Ukraine.
The interviewees might be terrified. They are used to living in a repressive society.
Nobody protected you? How about defending yourself. Ah you want others to die for your important life.
Putin’s heroism in a nutshell: abandoning people lol.
Pokrovsk basically had the same situation LOL, but nobody talks about it.
Ukraine can easily take over and hold kursk and make it there own, the civilians will see Ukraine is better for them.
Should write in Russian: "This is the same as what you did to us", near the pictures
Тогда почему никто их не осуждает и не называет орками и убийцами? Или это другое? Если не в курсе то они это делают с 2014 года на Донбассе и что то я не видел ваших осуждающих комментариев!
Who attack civilians, from who they need protection????
These things happen when an army attacks civilians
All russians "nothing can hurt us" Ukraine invaded russian territory, also the russians "how can this be possible"
Get angry with uncle vova then😂
👍👍 👌 💗🔱💪💪✌✌
Russia has one chance for rescue, that the ENTIRE COUNTRY is occupied by Ukraine and that it is then run as a co-operative by the surrounding countries. After a few dozen generations maybe they will realign themselves with the rest of humanity. Though as they've only known tyranny and dictatorship for centuries [and the Tsars were not better than the current lot as far as the common people went] it's going to take a long time to teach them [and I mean those who work the land, live in rural areas, only know Russian propaganda and lies, have no knowledge of what the rest of the world is like] that a different way of life exists.
Давно так не смеялся с таких детских фантазий😂😂😂 вы как в параллельной вселенной живете.
Now they know how Ukrainians feel I don’t feel so for them they know what’s been going on
I don't think they can possibly understand what Ukrainians feel, because at least their town is still standing, not bombed and shelled so flat that the locals can't even find their own way around the rubble. So these Russians are getting a very "lite" experience of their own government's war.
American Propaganda
Imagine if, 2 1/2 years after invading Iraq, the US held just 20% of the country, had lost hundreds of thousands of troops, Saddam was friendly with most of the world's leaders, visiting them and hosting them in Baghdad, with Iraqis taking over Montana.
Add to that Iraq is halfway around the world from the USA and Ukraine is on russia's border. Russia's failure is beyond measure.
@@cba4389 Yep. Russia can DRIVE into Ukraine on any number of paved roads. The US hanged Saddam, shot his sons to death, installed a US-friendly government, and stole all the oil, with only 4400 troop losses. If the goal had been to make Iraq a US colony or state like Russia wants with Ukraine, that would have been WAY easier than trying to make it an autonomous Democracy.
Only a Jew would speak like that about Iran, Iraq and Ukraine. Are you Israeli BTW?
USA invaded with 20 other countries. And no other country supported Iraq. So very lame comparison
