Love this . Rivian js building a cool EV brand and yes it’s not easy. But with their cash reserves and VW backing 5 billion along with the Amazon deal is a great boost . Slow and steady . Nice interview RJ.

Are you sure? Have you seen their debt (the debt is close to the cash they have now)? What is the progress they have made since Q2 2023? Have you seen that Amazon has substantially slowed down taking Rivian Van? Also, R's CFO has acknowledged all previous pilot programs failed due to the huge initial costs. Have you seen how much stock this joke has sold in the last three month? Also, the huge part was sold immediately after the VW deal - I believe this is very illegal.

@@baowang3851 yes I have seen . I have followed every single earning call and SEC release . Every single 144 form and every single executive hire and exit . Every single share sold by an insider and every single share claimed as per stock options. I have followed every single interview and every single release . Every single notes issued ( debt) and every quarterly delivery release . Every single new RAN charger opening and every single new space and service center opening. Every single expansion in normal Illinois and every single granding of dirt in Georgia. I have even followed the lawsuits and the completion actions. I have also followed the leaders history AKA teslas debt to revenue ratio from 2013 to 2019 . And I’m saying “ I LOVE THIS COMPANY”

Selling best premium car in california is not easy. Even with money it’s difficult.
AI with FSD will be only last nail in the coffin for fossil fuel vehicles. BEV cars will only make FSD possible.

Rivian lost almost $44,000 per vehicle this year. Lower than Ford's $58,0000. Your tax dollars hard at work.

Lol, what tax dollars? The same ones that go to fossil fuel subsidies?

The (Negative) externalities (impacts) of the fossil fuel industry are in the $trillions a year … an industry heavily subsidized by governments.

I believe these two numbers are quite misleading. Rivian's loss excludes cash used for R&D, SG&A, and other operating costs. In contrast, Ford includes these costs. Calculating in the same way, Rivian loses more than $100K per car in Q2 2024.
