Thanks for the video - I've got my grandma's recipe and am about to try making it for the first time (without her help unfortunately).
I hope it turned out great.
Nothing like my grandma's. She roll out dough very thin. First roll it, then pull it to the edges of table. The fill was thinner pour it out a pan.

Orginal Slovenian recipes created to much potica for small family.. Your proportion is perfect. Will make it instead of my Polish Makowiec. Which my daughter doesn't like for same reasons. I feel like no festivite celebration in Slavic family without this type of cake. It is so surreal to not to have rolled cake on Xmas or Easter table.
