@3D Animation Geek Yes, they already do that with the Autonomous Driving feature. I believe all Teslas can utilize the feature if they pay 10k to unlock the feature.

User made, customized UI layout or styles incoming? Think about having a UI which you don't like and you could customize it. For example reorganizing menu, organizing what you want to see on which views, or just edit colors to make screen easier to read.
This would have so many legal problems if there isn't a backup dashboard that cannot be changed.

Ok, so it fits well to auto-motive systems. What about industrial machinery? I wish to make a robot cell with UE HMI, because that could be nice product seller, but not sure if i just don't waste time if try to check it.

because UNREAL & mapbox have a DEAL.
whereas TESLA has Fully Intergrated NAVIGATE on AUTOPILOT and FSD (currently LEVEL 4).
NAVIGATE on Autopilot can precondition your Batteries for OPTOMIZED FAST Charging at V3 Superchargers at 1000 mph .
GMC cant do that.
and there are FREE 3rd party apps like PLUGSHARE.ORG and A better Route Planner that can show you Detailed information on the Nearest Supercharger.

About GM and other car which now moving on electric learning from tesla, copying ...etc GM will use unreal engine in car features. Tesla is now making every one either follow their path or create better own or get disappeared from world. HAHA! Finally they all awake now which is better than nothing/

@@tudormuntean3299 Yes! will be..A bit late will be out.. Robotaxi elon time++ I mean it's hard and no one can have exact date for that. haha. I'm from nepal and man I love that Tesla, elon and his team bringing something new and advancement in tech is crazy. Hope one day here also Tesla will arrive clean( I mean mostly) no noise cars and I will probably be outdoor more as there will be no terrible smokey air throwing cars. Hope that day will be near before i pew pew out haha (well I will probably).

Here's my thought: Will Apple CarPlay be possible on this Unreal Engine HMI considering current litigation between Epic and Apple? If I'm GM, I'm asking the question, "Hey, why are game developers dumping Unreal Engine right now?" Answer: Because of uncertainty regarding future compatibility between iOS / macOS and Unreal Engine. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are pretty much expected these days with car infotainment systems.
TESLA Media center already SUPERIOR to Apple car play & Android.
