Wow. gugut listener here, it was a great podcast. I had fun listening to the amount of things they don't know. the guests didn't even go deep. I hope this video doesn't mislead people into blindly walk into the IT industry expecting six figures. it took hard work, dedication, and a good amount of passion. I see this more oriented to the "book smart" people learning software in (mostly) public universities.
That's very true and it's not just a few nights that are mostly sleepless ... To this day I have to stay up so late tow work on a lot of things and it's not easy most of the times.

Education is not all about learning something to be hired, it is all about learning about life skills and how to teach yourself. How to read into details etc. and pls give them time for the amazing engineers to explain their experience , so that your podcast objective will meet it goals.

software Engineering is a painful path. it's no sunshine and rainbows. But very much worth it. Pays off well in the end once you start working with remote, async startups or companies. and PLEASE PLEASE you don't need a degree to be a software engineer. I regret getting a CS Degree. You can learn it by yourself for 1 year dedicating 8 to 10 hours a day just very aggressive schedule, fuck your social life, it will be the best decision of your life.
