It is remarkable growth!
What hits me is this was during the pandemic, so he was essentially stuck in the house where it happened.
As a person in recovery at that time, I don't think anyone would've faulted him for relapsing, but he didn't. That's tremendous strength.
Very few people would have done what he did. Exceptionally few. An exceptional example of a very loving human act.

I started listening to WTF in 2011. Marc is so real and has grown so much. The podcast when he talks about losing Lynn was so heartbreaking. I really pull for Marc. So sad.
....which episode was that? I've grown very fond of Marc Maron's podcast and would have to prepare for this emotionally.

I've told my family that if news were to break that Marc Maron died they better check on me because after a decade+ listening to his show he's my parasocial older brother.
Marc is a perfect example of how to continue growing, learning and teaching throughout life.
That was beautiful and brave to have called the ex. So sorry for his loss.

It was difficult listening to the sequence of events which I had not known. The story is so tragic yet in total has a healing effect because of the decency and heartfelt efforts on display.

Thanks for posting, may her memory always be a blessing. Marc's generosity to her circle of loved ones, including her ex, in the midst of his grief, is a great reminder.

Lymphomas can be a bit of a challenge as they present with fatigue, not feeling well, so once someone is seen the labs done can show the problem(s). RIP, very sorry for your loss.
