I have an 8m with the Ultra Control Bar which I use for foiling. Overall I would say the bar pressure is very light but that is probably also due to the fact that once up on foil, very little pull is required from the kite. The Ultra bar is amazing.., the set and forget trim doesnt matter as the throw on the bar is huge, so even on the middle setting in 25+kn of wind on foil the kite is manageable.
Hi Vincent, I bought a 9m ultra (v4) I while ago and tried it with my naish bar with converter pigtails but had the feeling the kite didn’t respond as it supposed to. I very recently got a really good deal on a core cleat v4 bar and wanted to get your opinion if you think this bar would also be a combo for foiling? I haven’t tried it yet and could return the bar. Thanks!
How is bar pressure on the Ultr? Looking for a lighter bar pressure kite due to bad elbows. Thanks
