- The Witch from Mercury has concluded, and I have a strong urge to hand-paint the HG 1/144 Gundam Aerial with freehand patterns! Suletta's mobile suit will also be customized and kitbashed for tabletop gaming with Gamma Wolves. Throughout this process, I'm going to share stories and advice from recent conventions I've attended.

What did those of you who watched it think of The Witch From Mercury overall? I’m also wondering what everyone’s favourite mobile suit designs are!

Nice build here! Could you do a 2.0 of the Red Bull God Gundam and maybe slowly do a meme version of the Shuffle Aliance? there's a RG God Gundam and now HG Rose and Maxter.
Didnt watch because no time for anime anymore, but I *LOVE* the final 2 HG kits, the Schwartzette and the Calibarn. I'm trying to find one of each, and maybe 2 Schwartette for double wing shenanigans.
I still love the lifrith, and all its variants! 🧙🏻♀️🙍♀️🙎♀️🙅♀️🙆♀️🤷♀️🙋♀️
So far my favorite Gundam is the bael. Haven't really been interested in the anime so can't say about the show I haven't watched it lol
It really got F91’d. I wish it had a full 50 episode run and not forced into a seasonal anime beat

I definitely get FOMO, even when it comes to new games that everyone is playing. You're right though, at the end of the day I need to just go at my own pace. Its a shame that the algorithm works the way it does, it doesn't really help people with more varied interests.

Your kit-bash parts choice sometimes can be a little bit weird for my taste, but anyone in their right mind will love your paint jobs.

I really enjoy your perspective on the hobby, my brother got fomo hard when I got into the hobby. Now he's burnt out with a massive stack of kits and a half built mg psycho zaku... pace yourselves my gunpla brothers!

Hey man, the Aerial Looks Amazing! I'm going to be doing a Custom Gundam Calibarn Build for a Table Top RPG I'm getting set up with our GM, it's going to start out with my Custom Colors and as we play I'm going to build it into the Custom Gunpla I want. ^,=,^ fyi you're channel was the inspiration for wanting to do the TTRPG.

I was hoping to find some more tips for painting, so I was kinda confused about the video talking more about conventions, the anime and such.
That would look even cooler if the blues are also smooth and shiny like glass. haha. it's my personal take on your painting. I love it overall..

Gamma wolves, the one I play is more of a wargame than an RPG like D&D, but there are a lot of cool indie projects out there, I recommend looking into lancer

I agree with you on WfM, the best point to me was Bob's adventures on earth. The ending felt very rushed, and gave me too much of a 00 "Lets talk this out" vibe

Lol, I believe all my HGs are on 100mm circle bases. There is a section of the book with suggestions; have fun!
How do you clip the parts out if you don’t have the things to do it with one of those things the tools are using because I can’t do that
Can you do a video and how to post the Gundam aerial and its correct movie poses but ones that are like without the stand because I don’t have a stand for it I don’t have the money yet
I have a question. Is it possible for you to paint a kit using just Gundam markers ?
It's technically possible, but not really in the style I paint. IMO the markers are good for picking out specific details

How do you know if the paint is thin enough? I feel like i go too thin or not thin enough
kinda just have to get used to it and experiment. if it's pooling, running, hard to control, then too thin. If showing a lot of brush strokes and thick, then not thin enough, etc.

Hmm, maybe 5ish hours building and 20ish painting, I didn't track the time on this project

I'm assuming you mean to say 'exist'; there isn't an official D&D/Gundam product, but many indie mecha tabletop RPGs exist, some are their own games (like Lancer or Salvage Union), and some are supplements to existing RPGs
