Morten and a-ha were accompanied by the Oslo Symphony orchestra. He was dressed in a dark suit, and votive candles covered the stage, as he sang before the King of Norway.

I wasn’t an A-Ha fan back then because I thought they were too much of a teeny bopper band like George Michael and Wham! So I forgot about them for the next 35 years. Then after I purchased a new smart TV this year, I happened to see the Take On Me video again on You Tube. That’s when a miracle occurred. Morten looks just like a young friend who died at age 23 in 2012, ten years earlier. I started listening to A-Ha. Now I know all their songs. They are definitely very talented. I have a few favorites like Stay on These Roads, Foot of the Mountain, and Summer Moved On. It’s a shame that the American music industry managed to keep them off the radio here throughout their career. Aloha from Kauai🌴
