Great guide, I am on yet another playthrough and heading for this mission soon. Never thought to avoid the camp and heading to the outskirts. Also it pains me when you don't stop and loot, i know you aren't to make the video short but I think I am developing a looting OCD problem :) Job Done - Thanks Boris!
Lol, if I wasn't going for the tutorial route, I would also be absolutely looting the s&*t out of this place, lol. Thank you for watching Jules, always appreciated.
😂 same here! Every time I see him pass a berry bush, ripper, etc by without grabbing the loot i feel a little twinge & remind myself it's just to make the video easier to watch...for everyone that isn't like us about the loot 😁
Great job starting the video with the trip back to Lost Lake as that one is sure to cause some people grief. As for the main part of the mission , I believe I hold the record for the most kills , unfortunately I'm refering to the number of times the Rippers killed me lol. What a stroke of genius to make your way around the outskirts of the camp and avoid most of the fighting. You also took the words out of my mouth when Iron Mike was about to have Skizzo escorted out , you know , ' We'll give him a fair trial and hang him in the morning ' lol. Another masterpiece my friend !
Very kind words as always FM. Thank you so much my friend. Everyone has suffered at the hands of this mission throughout the years, but not anymore, lol.
I love seeing how many kills I can get throughout the entirety of the mission (from the moment of being released in the ripper camp anyway). Finished it yesterday (mb day before, time flies) & managed to go from 0% of new skill point progress to 100% & then some by the end of the mission - even tho I already have 20 or so skill points (so it costs more xp). Those 87xp stealth kills add up quick, love it! I like to stealth kill everyone in the ripper camp. This last time I found out that if you kill all of the ones that are outside before retrieving your gear they respawn after you grab your gear & you can do it all over again! Well, as long as you stay stralthy & wait to save Lisa of course. Sorry for the long info dump in your comments section, I love talking about this game but I really suck at concise!
Great stuff mate. When in game the soundtrack, the vibe, the scare stuff all lead to panic button moments. This is gonna be a fun game now(famous last words) 😂 Having a go is now on the cards tho ! Just superb Boris !
Hello my friend, another great alternative way around, as we saw in your extreme playthrough, going through the camp can be tricky on harder levels especially with the heavies and burning bawheids. My Saturday is complete. 😊
Thank you Darryl. Avoiding the ripper heavies really does make this mission a walk in the park. Appreciate you watching as always my friend, thank you.
Great stuff once again Boris. Never thought of skirting around the camp to avoid all the heavies (too busy killing every ripper in the camp 🤣). Looking forward to next
Well thought out mate. This will definitely help people who struggle to get through the camp and deal with the heavies. I must admit I really enjoy this firefight. I always make sure I heave a great loadout, and take my time and kill as many rippers as I can . It’s like playing a different game for a little while (like a sniper/Call of duty game). Anyway , boss video as usual !
Were these accidentally put out in opposite order or is there a second dam video coming out soon? Either way, thank you for always giving us so many new ways to play & ideas for new things to try! I love how much you seem to experiment with everything the game throws at you
Lol, no my friend. The last 3 Saturday videos have been purposefully been put out in this order so I can put an end video recommendation that is basically the next mission you would be taking on. Won't be doing this the entire time, but the video out next Saturday is the escape from the compound, so again, going back one mission, but after that, I'll be showing missions in the order you would be taking them on.
nice pro tip for this mission seeing as you lost lots of stuff when you were caught by the rippers if your feeling adventurous then fully explore lost lake and take out as many rippers as you possibly can, it can help you build up supplies of things like smoke bombs, attractors and pipe bombs. you can pretty much explore the whole area and your not short of rippers to take out and loot. most playthroughs i usually end up fully stocked on attractors doing it this way and with all the hidden loot locations available in the northern regions plus my stash of proximity mines and bombs that i left before starting the mission with skizzo to head into iron butte im pretty much full back up again within 20 minutes of this mission being over with
Some absolutely great info there my friend, as all the people who play Days gone a lot, know that the rippers are the top boys for dropping all the best loot, lol. Superb strategy thinking there DJG.
Yes he would definitely be hanging in the morning great job yet aging form boris the day gone master brilliant loved it this is my next mission cant believ it just come up at the right time ❤
My play-through is as such. When I get to Lost Lake I collect the ammunition next to me and then make my way around the shore of the lake until I reach the jetty. Then I make my way to the hut with the hostages where I confront a couple of the RIP from behind, so it’s easy to take them out. Leaving the hut I turn left and make my way around the building, making sure the RIP heavy doesn’t see or target me before dropping down onto the path below and thereby avoiding a RIP soldier. If you continue up the path it will take to Iron Mike’s residence just by the circular walkway. A red haired RIP will walk towards you and you can quickly neutralise them before running to the infirmary. After getting shot all the time and having to restart the game, I stumbled on this route. It means I encounter very few RIP and when I do I always have the upper hand.
That was different Boris I think this game requires you to think outside the box from time to time instead of following where the game is trying to lead you great job thow yet again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks for the awesome video. I am going to use this route when I get there on this my 8th playthough of DG. I'm finally playing it on Survival II, and I am getting lost all the time without the HUD. 😂 Anything to make the playthrough easier I'll do.
Honestly, I have thought about a permadeath run a lot. The trouble is, because I could only record 1 hour at a time, people would claim that I may have been cheating, as I would have to join a number of recorded footage pieces together, and would give people a reason to say this. Only a livestream doing a playthrough of this nature would work, and it would take a good number of hours, which is a problem for me given that I have a full time job & a family to look after. Basically, a lot of problems.

Yeah, I always think of Matt..."the colonel"...when they lock Skizzo up. A fair trial and then a fair hanging.
@@macsprinter Lol, indeed, the most questionable nut job in Days Gone that goes beyond Carlos, lol.

I was wondering about putting and stuff around lost lake for this mission like even on the bridges I wonder if that would work
Could make a difference mate.
Hope you’re well dude
Doing well McR, hope you are too mate.
That was easy mission, only Heavy-s was difficult, but killed them all :)
Avoid the heavies, and this mission is very easy, lol.
