That’s actually a feature I miss being able to upgrade weapons
I believe we will get that in time, surely those other terminals next to the armoury will be used for something!
@@YamumsYadad oh true I noticed there is clearly extra terminals but they have no purpose. Upgrades would be awesome. They could even do tier upgrades that change the weapons in multiple different ways
@@YamumsYadadI think there for Helldivers to vote for president ( probably a feature that would give a choice of A or B ) , I remember one of the NPCS yapping about how Helldivers are equipped with voting things and what not, something along those lines.
Well I don’t wanna be the leaker but MK2 and mk3 strategems have been found in the files. Meaning we’ll be able to upgrade them at a later time
@@YamumsYadadI think upgrading strategms will be in the ship terminal, upgrading weapons will be in the armory terminal and the encyclopedia terminal will be the one across from the armory (it’s something so noobs can learn weaknesses and see the strengths and weaknesses of each enemy
If it is added hopefully it's the Mk3 version that's added or a mk4 that's better than the mk3
The more shorts I see about the first one, the more I wanna buy it 😂

The Bastion is a 100 years old by now, so it would make sense if it has gotten further upgrades.
I has been a hundred years. An experimental mark 4 or 5 with different pro's or cons to justify it being in a differently balanced game would make a lot of sense!

I really hope we can start upgrading our weapons soon. I think being able to improve some of the base weapons will make things way more spicy
The auto cannon need a better scope.
Or atleast some different choice in optics in fps mode
That would make the recent nerfs make more sense.
one of the things I love about HD is that there isn’t a lvl.10->lvl11 upgrade: +3% damage, -2% spread at the cost of 20h of grinding/3 bucks of your currency like a lot of other games have. upgrading mid-battle by charging it with sth special, similar to how mini-nukes are better than HE-rounds on SEAF artillery, is the most I‘d go with. you can also "upgrade" laser weapons by using them on cold planets
Personally I'm More of a fan of just well-rounded sandbox, without more s*** the grind through.
I know I'm in the minority here but I absolutely hate grinding for gear.
I just want to play with the toys and I want the toys to all be interesting choices comparatively instead of upgrades.
The tank was discontinued after the amount of helldivers who died getting out of the drivers seat

You do realize with IFVs and tanks getting ran over by friendlies are common accidents. I know there's IFVs (IRL) that needs to get redesigned because almost everytime they hop out of it they get ran over.
But at the same time why the hell would you jump out of a running vehicle. Im sure Helldivers 2 will fix that issue(or not cuz it's funnier)

A 4 man tank with two people mounting machine guns, and guy manning the turret sounds sooooo fucking fun
In Helldivers 1, the M5-32 HAV had 2 machine guns bays, a driver, and a turret operator. It was awesome. You got an achievement if everyone was riding in it on a Friday night lol
You are literally describing an M5-32 HAV. That bad boy had everything: Anti-armor main cannon, 2 machineguns on the sides and a formidable health pool! I hope the MoD will clear us to use these models...
Hopefully we get that. It’ll probably be hell to get randos to cooperate enough to be an effective tank crew, but a group of friends with consistent communication would be able to make any mission feel like a scene out of T-34 (2019) or Fury (2014)
Sometimes you gotta pull old weapons outta retirement..... like the M1 Saber! Why don't we have swords like in the first game?!

I want multiple melee weapons. Like sword deals with smaller guys with light armor, ax with mediums, then hammer for heavies.

Forget the TD-110, the EXO-51, or as us veterans call it, the "Lumberer", is what we need to crush the Terminids, Automatons, the probably returning Illuminate and the possible fourth faction alike.
I think it be cool to have it be split into two weapons, one mortar operator, and one spotter. Snipe across the map!
actual galaxy map and how spread are bugs and autobots it has place for returning illuminate and 2 more faction
I remember I used to run 2 Lumberers and 2 Walkers for any mission. Good times
I missed the lumberer. As soon as I heard we were going to get Exo-suits I was waiting for it... but it still hasn't come.
I hope 4th faction is the equivalent of space orks.
As a war thunder player, I really hope this is added. I’ll definitely overuse it

It’s all fun and games until you realize it’s slow as hell and more importantly can’t rotate the turret past like 30 degrees.
that makes no sense, if the super destroyers were so good they would be able to stay longer than 40 minutes in orbit. A destroyer cant do what a helicopter can do and vice versa. Two completely different tools for two completely different jobs@@Joker9331

This does not run over big Bugs, tanks, Hulks, and that Illuminati flying/disappearing wall fortress. I remember the Illuminati use that wall separation on vehicles, mechs and gamers. It's a one shot death destruction on it.

HD1 weapons and strategems have upgrades. No customized weapon.
Arrowhead, in all their games, do not have customized weapons and armors. The only customized items are capes and color swap of players.

Bet you anything the only reason we don't have vehicles yet is cause they are trying to make them work for this new third person/first person perspective
They are still trying to make the game work, period.
I think the terrain is another issue. There's so many rocks and little bits of terrain that you can get stuck on even with the vaulting mechanic that I imagine vehicles would have trouble with. Good luck getting a tank into and back out of a Terminid nest pit.

@@Jules.69 Considering the number of times I've been smacked in the face with an orbital beacon, I have trouble imagining the average player NOT driving into a bug nest.
@@Khotetsu hahahaha true enough bro but I mean anytime I'm fighting bugs and see those nests I and everyone else on the team throw all the orbital strikes we can so honestly im imagining an army of red beacons in the bug nests as sort of a don't drive their kinda thing but I threw my 500 kilogram in one once and my teammate walked right on through the mfer and was blown into the stratosphere so who knows😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hear me out. Ignore the cannon, find a cliff, and try to headshot a Bile Titan with the tank itself. Then go A-Team and use the cannon to steer mid-air. 😈

I always brought this with me in the classic game. Always ther driver.
Most times my team wouldn't help.
But ive had a few that successfully integrated as the gunner and we were invincible
I was so excited until I realized why the video was at an angle.
It always kills me how tanks that specialize in destroying tanks are called tank destroyers when they themselves are tanks...
Why though? It's not like that deminishes it's purpose.

@mitwhitgaming7722 the designation came in WW2, when the age of tanks was upon most countries. Most tanks were utilized in infantry support so when tanks were present on the battlefield they would often call for aid from Tank Destroyer units, as their specialty was in their name. Just a bit of history

"Small tank-destroyer" they say as something shaped like a Leman Russ rolls up, completely immune anything smaller than a charger and pretty resistant to anything that isn't an orbital strike.

Imagine if in the Helldivers 2 lore, we’re actually using the destroyed Automaton tanks and refurbish them and use it on our Managed Democracy
Thinking about it, it almost seems like the opposite. The Automaton tanks are probably copied from the Bastion.
A Tank Destroyer rather than an Main Battle Tank is such a bold idea in the universe

Would be nice to get expanded ammo mags and heavier armor for the exo mech.

They should make an upgrade menu for guns and strategems to buy for requisition slips. I bought the entire collection of strategems
This is why I haven't transferred from 1 to 2 yet.
Man, I like the thought of getting into one-on-one tank battles with the Automaton tanks.
Thats a sight to see if it would happen.
Seems like the automatons must have reverse engineered the old rusting bastion husks that are scattered around from the first conflict and made their own modified mass produced version, at least at first glance with the exposed frontal tank treads.

Any hd1 player would know how much of a pain driving this thing was, especially on planets with holes.
With how fast the time to kill is for enemies,i wonder if shield backpacks from multiple riders effects the vehicle like a hug does
They absolutely need to make this thing in helldivers 2 and make it crew operated, up to 4 players even maybe, just for that extra bit of full squad fun

If I want anything to return from the first helldivers is the motorcycle. It was super fun to use, but whoever you tried to get off even if it was moving a little bit it would kill you

What the Helldivers need is an Assault Gun. ( Irl equivalents being vehicles such as the M10 booker), also can't wait for the Recon buggy and the APC/LAV
they said rockets were counting multi hits so lets hope that "fix" helps
The more i see comparisons to the first game the more i think that helldivers 2 is a reboot of some sort

we need the medigun again. i really cant see how vehicles will ever be useful in hd2 without it, because they've always been super squishy
As a non-HD player, I've gotta ask:
Why have an armored vehicle assigned to be manned by special forces soldiers? I get they have the training for it just in case, but isn't it better to have designated vehicle operators for that?

Fun fact: tank destroys were made to be cheaper tanks to produce but still have strong anti armor capabilities. Great examples of TD’s are from WW2 were german and soviet TD’s were casemates with big guns
