I enjoyed your reaction, I hope you will go back and watch Scott's outro. He was with Voiceplay (they were caled 4:2:Five, established in 1997) from the beginning. He left to persue an acting career in Hollywood after about 7 years. He explains why they chose the Halo theme, what it meant to them and about a friend that they lost this year. It just shows the friendship and love that they share and what wonderful people they are.
Always watch VoicePlay and Geoff Castellucci videos until the Patron roll or you may miss the true ending. They use a dark pause very effectively or give you some important information before they end the video. They are full of surprises.
Layne Stien is the beatboxer they do everything themselves as they do not have a record label like the other 2 big acappela groups Scot porter was an original member in Voiceplay he was the original beatboxer he left to go into acting he has been in Friday Night Lights, and Lucifer
I always wonder why in the hell so many reactors come to the beginning of the outro that takes HALF THE LENGTH of the whole video and don't understand it must have something important in it. Why should any group dedicate of their video (something more than 3 minutes!) to something that is not REALLY important? 🙂
Yet, so many just skip the outro as if they believe these guys kinda waste their time, or that there is some mistake in the video, or who knows what. 🙄
The musical part is astounding, yes. But the outro is a windows open into the heart of these guys, and is totally worth the while. You won't see them the same way again after watching and listening to it. It shows their sentiments and feelings, and that is way more important that even such beautiful music... to which it gives a totally different light. 🙂
That said, nice reaction, as usual, but... Please, remember the rule: never stop a Voiceplay's (or Geoff's) video before you see the Patreons list! 😉

This is an amazing cover with every voice acting as an instrument. Geoff hit a B0 in this (just two keys away from going right off the left side of a piano).

Yes, Scott Porter is an actor.
There WERE two beatboxers. Scott was the original beatboxer. When he left to pursue an acting career Layne’s decided he wanted to switch from baritone to vocal percussion.
The little duel between Lane and Scott ( red team, blue team ) makes a lot more sense when you know that he was the original beatboxer.
Geoff hit a B0 in this - Layne’s arrangement and he always tries to push Geoff out of his comfort zone. Looking at a piano, there is only one more white key to the left of that note.
Recently another reactor realized that the person whose face is prominent is the one who has the lead. It is subtle but it is there.
He was in Friday night lights and The last season of Lucifer and in a Hallmark movie Taking the Reins. Are some of the acting credits he has.
Scott Porter was the original beatboxer but left for an acting career. His current series is Friday Night Live. Was in Lucifer's Season 6. You missed a lot by not watching the rest of the video. You would have learned a lot about them.
Scott Porter was one of the original members. He was the beatboxer so when he left Layne took over the beatboxing. Wish you would have watch til the end for the tribute to a group member ☹️. Sorry can't do a thumbs up on this one.
