@@shoelover4007 I have phases when I like things and then I don't have patience for them anymore and I think my movie-watching phase is gone (as to the memorizing dialogue, been there done that 😂 I think to this day I know the Before Sunset script from beginning to end. Btw, if romance is your thing, I can't recommend the Before Trilogy enough. It's REALLY good)

It's a lovely love story but sadly unrealistic. While older women/younger men coupling works for a while, eventually age gaps of 10+ years will take their toll. It's simple biology. While women in their forties and fifties are still vibrant and beautiful, they do lose their capacity to reproduce. Men can still father children into their eighties. Not fair, but a fact of life. Thus, if this young man wants a family, he will move on sooner or later. In the meantime, one can dream about a relationship with a hunk like Nick. He is too gorgeous to be real.
Its not always about reproducing. And also there are thousands other ways. This is a primitive way of thinking in this day and age.
Love can work for all age gaps. My uncle dated a girl in highschool but left her for her widowed mom. I know crazy but they just celebrated 40 years and still going strong. Edit the lady he married was beyond wealthy but he has never asked for one dime from her and has always had a constant job.
