Wonderful BEAR SANCTUARY Pristina | Kosovo is SAVING Europe’s BEARS

We were only two metres away from bears at this amazing sanctuary!
Bear Sanctuary Pristina rescues bears that were used as entertainment in restaurants, circuses and hotels. Sadly, these majestic animals were badly mistreated and kept in cages. They now live under professional supervision in an environment suited to their species.

I've been to the Bear Sanctuary many times. The folks there are amazing! One of the most exciting things is that many of the bears are returning to their natural behavior.

Yeah, we loved that the bears weren’t on show for people and could hide in their massive habitats whenever they wanted.
