My father worked in a company they made those cages inside and now the bears are more friendly than they used to be before also the sign for snakes is most for summer bcs when winter is here in Kosovo they go underground to hide from the cold ( Glad you guys are here and visiting kosovo as a small country )

The bears have more than enough space and space better than what I've seen in some zoos in other countries. Very good work 👍. This park is a good example of how to treat bears that are traumatized.

It was actually a german NGO which built this and saved the bears from Bars and Zoos across Kosovo. Owners even sold their bears and killed them before the NGO could arrive and take the bears from them.

I am kosovo-albanian but i live in Germany and it is always amazing to see Kosovo from a tourists perspective. Didn´t know about the sanctuary either. What an amazing project this is! Hopefully gonna give it a visit next year. Anyways, keep up the good content. I really enjoy watching these Kosovo related videos. Definitely helps me cope with home sickness.

so important that the brown bear population is not wiped out as they actually do no harm if left alone in their natural habitat 🐻
south near the greece border in nth macedonia it is also illegal to trap, lockup, shoot or kill brown bear
humans can be so cruel..so glad they changed the laws and provided those majestic creatures a safe home there
perspective is everything - if only others could place themselves in place of these living beings, then they would see 👁 how cruel we can be

The bears are safer there then in the wild you guys are amazing explaining everything cuz kosovo doesn't have much big wild mountains that bears can stay away from people and maybe that's why bears are kept there for safety reasons

Monasteries belongs to us(Albanians) , but with the time serbia took them by force and they consider it theirs
In the past most of Albanians were Catholics and there was a very small percentage of Muslims and also a percentage of Orthodox Albanians
Everything is in History , What have been took by force , cant be called that belongs to them , serbians could say now that Kosovo was took by force from serbia but that’s not true
We took back our own land and still there are cities on serbia that the most people are Albanians .... there’s so much to say but i’ll end with this
