The Halo Effect put out the album that Robb wished he could make. Authentic pure metal, not a person that follows trends like Robb, so unauthentic and trying to be the next big metal band Machinehead had their Blackening moment and then went back to trying new trends that failed. Especially the last 2 albums that were complete bombs.

It's like a group of 30-40 musicians in Gothenburg got together in the early 90's to start an entire genre and have just traded between bands since.
