I love this tank from the beginning... even with the stock gun you can easily grind your way up. It will stay in my garage for sure. After grinding up to tier 8 I look back and can say for me imho that this was the most fun tank in this row of japanese TD's.
They must've nerfed this thing because it SUCKS now. This thing and the Wolverine are the only tanks with like a 20% winrate in my garage. I just used free XP to get passed them bc to me they're unplayable.

I really wish WG would have released tier 2, 3, and 4 of Japanese TDs. We still have Ho-Ru, Ho-To, Ha-To, Na-To, Ho-I, Ho-Ni I, Ho-Ni II, Chi-Ha Long Gun, Ji-Ro 120mm, and Ho-Ro that haven't seen the light of day :( :(
WG is not interested in "low tier sh!tters" financially...AND players have too much free xp to simply skip them altogether, anyways...
I just hope they turn few of the most significant historical ones as anniversary/holiday gift, and maybe one middle tier as mini marathon reward (that doesn't require much effort).

Half the meds have that kind of penetration but without the drawbacks like no turret, almost every hit kills engine, no speed, no armor. And as bonus you have -5 gun depression. Awful vehicle, but i also hated toaster, when i grinded it many many years ago.

Mark my word The tier V, VII, and X Japanese TD's gonna be nerfed ''re balanced'' at the start - mid of 2024 they are too good not to be premium. 🙄 And as the Grind of new tech tree is one time ''milking'' So WG will be ''forced'' to say that those 3 TD's are too popular... Well you know as the Progetto 65 was. P.S. As i'm just trying to ace all tanks i have in my garage... I had no time to play with it because i managed to ace it in 1st battle... Still it reminded me the tier VII Japanese TD... 😊

I was looking at the hall of fame statistics of the top players in wot today. The player with the best rating in the last 30 days has only like 50 battles and average over 10k per battle. He has like 88% win rate. Check it out. He's definitely cheating. Player tag is Pershing gun derp or some shit
This tank is the worst. It barely passes as a tier 4, let alone a tier 5
T5 awesome......T6 worst tank ive ever played......T7 awesome.
