Hi quick question I have purchay a new coil which worked for two days and now my bike is not starting
As my multimeter ohm portion is faulty but it's continuity portion is fine
When I checked primary with multimeter positive and negative portion the multi meter is giving beep full continuity does this means my coil is blown because no video is there on TH-cam where they test it with continuity
Real question is does primary positive and negative will show continuity beep or resistance .
Does beep means my coil is shorted
Please test it with yours and let me know

Will the values be same for 6 volt ht coil?

Almost same. The old ones are 6v only. What I did is I placed 12v HT on 6v stator and is working fantastic. I tested on road and achieved 90 KMPH with 150cc Lambretta. Ofcorse with little modifications
