That Oldsmobile is a beauty. I just love it! It’s in great shape. I wish they put those little side windows back into cars. They we’re so nice especially when you wanted just a little fresh air. Robert, I like that new fade-in feature on the video. It sure smooths out the presentation. Hey, I like Elvis, too. That Oldsmobile looks like it belongs in an early black & white movie, being sped down the highway loaded to the gills with bottled 'shine and being chased by revenuers. I wish cars still had the vent windows. My '70 V-dub squareback had them but no AC, of course. My roomie and I took it to Death Valley with the vent window cooling us off. Of course, the passengers get a little dirty with those, but hey, we were camping. Camping doesn't begin until the fingernails get grimy.

What a beautiful bunch of old vehicles and where you lined them up would be a great spot for a carport too shelter and protect your cars a little plus they look cool all lined up together.
My favorite is the Oldsmobile! I’ve had my 1972 Cutlass Supreme Convertible since 1985. And I agree Olds have a tendency to run hot for some reason. I know mine likes to be towed! I can’t name the times that’s how she got home! Rockets of the Road!
Love the screech of the door on the '57. Spare on the ambulance, the original "driver side air bag." My first car was an Olds 98, 1960, rocket V8, 4700 pounds curb weight, pass anything but a gas station.

I owned three 1950 88’s with the 303. One of the smoothest quietest engines ever built. You literally cant tell when they’re running on idle. ‘52 must be the last year of that engine as my ‘53 98 had the 324. I yanked that and put in a 371 4 bbl from a ‘58. Burned rubber like crazy

Hi Robert, you might want to check the motor mounts on the Olds, they often settle with age and cause interference issues with the fan and shroud, just spitballin' from a distance.
@@THEOLDBYRDFARMVLOG when you pointed out that it was hitting down low that's a good indicator of compressed rubber in the mounts, check the gap between blade and shroud on top and bottom, I'm guessing the top gap is at least an inch larger than bottom.
@@THEOLDBYRDFARMVLOG a quick, cheap fix would be to put a couple of u shaped body shims under the mount between the frame provided there are enough threads to re-tighten.
Line-up looks great. On olds remove therostat or order one that opens sooner at a lower temp. Meant for colder weather or higher elevations. It'll run fine without it. Excellent clean-up this week

I have a picture of my Daddy and a friend when they was young sitting on top of the roof drinking a 🍺🍻 beer. The car with the wing roof .. they was sitting on the roof was just like the one beside the red truck.

I had a 1964 Dodge Polaris 440 and she was notorious for overheating, but I would drive until I saw her heating up and drive down the hill to granny’s , have a cup of tea, add water to the rad and away we would go. It must of been a sight, pile of kids and dogs and me with no drivers license 😮I miss that old car and the push button tranny You have a great collection of really cool cars
Need to pick a spot and have some rock hauled in for a carport pad. That way you can mow around them without having to move em all the time.. then eventually put you a cover over them .

You can't beat the style of the 57 Chevy that is a gorgeous car however you look at and they were able to work on it unlike the computer crap today you could work on cars then
Nice collection you got there. The Oldsmobile is cool but Im just not into classic cars being turned into a lowriders. Plenty of new plastic cars for chop shop projects like that. It would look awesome with normal suspension hight and white wall tires. My fav. though is the Chevy. All that is missing is red body paint with white roof. I own a vintage car myself (the one in my avatar) and everytime I take her for a spin Im not overspeeding because the driving is awesome, comfortable very unlike modern "cars".
I’m planning on getting some stock springs for the front so I can return it to factory height. The rear is just lowered with blocks so that’s too easy.
the over heating issue is more than likely the radiator not flowing properly or the fan and shroud not pulling good if it seems to run cooler driving down the road thats probably it

Beautiful Oldsmobile. We have a 66 Starfire Olds.. My daddy was an Oldsmobile mechanic from the 1930's until the late 60's when he retired.

Yup, Paul, I alternate between the truck and the Jeep and moving em around and I stay in the camper sometimes so no telling when I’m around 😉

Get a 160 TRICKFLO thermostat if available for that car! If you have room go with a clutch fan 7 blade. That should solve the issue!
