I love Amuro's "use all that is at my disposal" attitude during battle. Throwing his shield to generate an opening, releasing dummy mine balloons during Char's counterattack, attaching a line to a bazooka left floating in space. The man had a keen sense of battle and through countless conflicts developed a better understanding of face to face combat. He knew how to keep the enemy on their toes.
@rgz-91xsre-zz15 Those actually soundly something Amuro would build in his spare time. I think it's actually mentioned that he does something similar in super robot wars thirty. I think it mentioned that that r x seventy eight two is a passion project of Amuro's.
Honestly I don't get how people say that him and Char are equal, Amuro is straight up just way better than Char, in MSG he beat Char with equal mobile suits (RX-78 vs Gelgoog) and even stalemate against a superior one (the Zeong), in Zeta, Char struggles a lot while using the Hyaku Shiki, a machine that is supossed to be superior to the Rick Dias, but Amuro with a normal Rick Dias appear to always be chill and in control of every battle. The guy is a monster in another level.
I feel the difficult advice to "watch your back"! A sword with beams coming from both sides is very nice. I think it would be fun to see Dijeh fight in space. It's interesting to see how a terrestrial aircraft is working hard in space.
Rick Dijeh, the space-use variant of a ground-use variant of a space ms thats already ground-compatible. For better or worse this is the perfect summary of UC side stories after decades worth of bloat
Ah, I dunno about that, the Dijeh felt distinct enough as an ace version of the Rick Dias, and I could see the use of upgrading the Dijeh into a space suit instead of falling back to the Rick Dias, since this is after the first neo zeon war, and even by the start of the neo zeon war the Rick Dias was outdated, Though I do see your point.
Yeah, all these side stories equate to "Heres a bunch of tech that should be around in the later years, but MUCH earlier and somehow fits in the timeline because money". Its why Im not a big fan of most gundam side stories these days.
@@Severekillshot When I read your comment, I got reminded of how they tried to integrate panoramic cockpits as early as UC 80 and 83 in Gundam Thunderbolt (the sequel to it) and Stardust Memory respectively, where certain prototype suits had them when it was clearly stated that the tech was invented around UC 86.
Feds kept him at a relatively low rank when he was with Londo Bell. Pretty much, Londo Bell is made up of former AEUG and Karaba personnel who the Feds are keeping under a close watch on. Even Bright Noa is regarded as a dangerous individual by the EFF because his battle tenure has earned him connections and respect in both the Federation and Zeon. They kept giving Amuro lesser prototypes because they fear his power. Char realized that the majority of the EFF is as bad hell if not, worse than the Titans. Thats why he forms his own faction and decides to drop Axis on the Earth, otherwise more people like Haman, Scirocco, the Zabis and Jamitov will appear. He was also increasingly frustrated that Amuro and by extension Bright went back to the Federation full time.
Technically... Dijeh is made from Rick Dias which was indeed a mass produced Gamma Gundam (not in a sense of being GM but more like RX-79[G])... so Rick Dijeh still qualifies of being a Gundam? It just isn't named like one, thats all.
@@gangagod900 Well it was fast to dodge the Sazabi shots due to Amuro skills, but it was no match to the Sazabi speed, and Char was only toying around with Amuro Rick Dijeh throughout the fight then Char proceed to easily grab Amuro Rick Dijeh from behind to have a argument then left the battlefield while destroying the missiles that was targeted on him with ease due to his funnels.

It's always awesome to see Amuro Ray in action. And this is just more proof that he doesn't need a Gundam to kick ass.
I wonder if he can kick ass in a mobile worker?

When you realize Amuro is paralleling Char in this fight. Moon Gundam is essentially the RX-78-2 and Amuro's Rick Dijeh is Char's MS-06S.
Moon Gundam needs an anime to tell the story of Mineva, and her involvement in the horizon the second neo zeon war.
yes Ray specialized in throwing high tech/cost items around.
Neither of those describe the most basic-ass shield in the entire franchise.

Somehow this model of the Rick-Dijeh shows it's lineages origin as a prototype gundam to me.
Well they repainted it in a grayish white scheme, change it's shield and made a few changes and it resulted in a more Gundam-like appearance.
