I used to live in Glendale, and would watch for hours when they switched out the intermodel yard. Cant believe to see at 9:35-9:41 a EX Triple Crown Roadrailer trailer in AZ!! Very Rare catch there!! Fantastic Video No doubt!
Shawn Floyd the switcher power has been ridiculous. Aces, macs, executives, warbonnets you name it recently. And actually those ex triple crown trailers have been fairly common recently. I think UPS acquired them.
Excellent catches here for sure. Check out the hat on the conductor at 24:36! The ex-Vermont Railway GP60 and the meet at 5:15 were the highlights for me.
Did you ever get the impression that the RR doesn't like people hanging around the Calgas location? Also, I like how you waited until the "train in intersection" light turned off. I like those too!
I grew up in Mesa, so good to see videos from the Phoenix area.
Lack of narration made this video perfect. Just let the action unfold.
Fantastic video congratulations
dear Friend love it. Really enjoyed. Thumbs up.
Wishing you good health and beautiful Time.
God bless you.

Yep UPS purches those POS trailers

I envy you, I long to get out west also.

24:25 Hey! That unit belongs to us up in Vermont!
i am glad i subsribed to your yt, very good videos! hi from south africa
I'd forgotten about the Vermont GP 60(ex VTR381), that red paint still looks good.
Great video, good catches.
I really like your camera work...understated, to the point, simple; set it up let the trains do the work. When can we go back to New Mexico?
never thought an SD70MAC would be used to shuffle intermodal cars on the transcon.
Awesome catches as always!
Good vid. Question: In yard movements do all the air hose have to be attached?
Will you know where these liquefied gas tanks come from, will they be from long beach?
23:47 is my favorite engine
Good stuff man :)
