Such a great resource. I love going thru scripture and then having these videos to explain everything in context afterwards. God bless Skip and Calvary Church for making this available!

The Lord lead me to Joshua 3 a couple of years ago. It was during a time of regret over a decision I made that was clearly nor the direction God wanted me to take. But I did and God knew how horrible I felt about it. So reading 3 revealed to me Gods ability to do for me again what He did for the people at the Jordan. "HE MADE A WAY". It's kind of like missing the opportunity to cross the Red Sea but He allowed an opportunity for to get across the Jordan at another appointed time. So I went back to read again and actually listen to this sermon and it was still a blessing!

Like you said Pastor Skip - once you accept Genesis 1:1 all other “miracles” in the Bible are just God exercising control over His creation. As the Creator, He is the Author of the laws of physics and the laws of chemistry and manipulates time, space, matter, and energy at will. And that includes water molecules! God is God.

Thanks Pastor Skip, for this great Bible historical knowledge. I have a confusion tho...
27:30. Aaron had 4 sons (Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar" both was strucked ) I think you are mentioning sons of Levi (Levi had three sons: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari). Please correct me if I'm wrong ... 27:32

Yes he made an error. He had meant to say Levi and instead said Aaron! We picked up on that too!

At 1:02:20, Skip Heitzig mentioned that ḥānaḵ means stimulating the taste buds of the child. Is there literature that I can check this?

I don’t think you should be talking bad about Seventh-day Adventist on your Bible readings because that is not straight from God. Maybe you should start obeying the fourth commandment. Are used to listen to you until you add your two cents in like a cocky A!

Are you a seventh day Adventist? Would be interested in discussing in a reasonable and respectful manner.
