Just an addition for getting around with collars. Something that I personally do is wear baggy hoodies so I can hide my collar underneath it as I wear the hoody. It gets me to go around wearing a collar without little to no people noticing it, but making me comfortable ^^

For number 5 there's an app called atmosphere that allows you to choose as many different sounds at once as you want like waves, a campfire and rowboat sounds. If there's a very specific type of nature sound you've been looking for but can't find then this app is great, especially for anyone with kin types that live underwater because it has a whole section dedicated to underwater sounds.
Another thing! If you live near a forest and your theriotype/kintype is a forest dwelling creature, try going hiking in it or exploring a bit. A little time in nature does wonders for your mental health, therian or not. For therians, the benefits I’ve seen is: Feeling more at home Higher happiness levels Less stress Better shifting experience (if you happen to shift in the forest) More adrenaline from exploring Creativity boosts Being able to make animal noises without it being questioned (this is a big one. I don’t know if your house has a pool or if there is a public pool near by but I know you are a pink river dolfin and I like to swim in funfin tail in the summer and I always feel like a fish. I swam in the lake one time and it was soooo fun going under water in the lake. So that might make you feel good. Either are fine really. Human collars are not any better than dog collars, they just look less like dog collars usually. Keep in mind that some human collars (if not most) are used in the BDSM community so for fetish/seks/kink reasons. Keep that in mind when buying them and read the description carefully. Otherwise someone may recognize them as a BDSM collar and think you're active in those activities. Some human collars are just 'chockers', which is a emo/punk/gothic like assecoire and has no other meaning than fashion :) I personally buy dog collars, as I feel better that way. It's less human, Exactly what I look for. As I don't identify (fully) as human. I buy them in petstores or secondhand stores if clean. I recommend textile collars or fake leather collars (both for human and dog collars) because real leather gets hard and cracks from water (aka sweat) so they don't last long if you wear them every day (mine lasted 2 years at max) I am now testing out dog collars who are 'oiled' or 'fattened' leather. This should give them an extra protective coat. And prevent them from cracking that easily from water (aka sweat) (as the oil doesn't let the water through to touch the leather) So I'll see if this one last 2 years or longer. I've had him a few months now.

Chloe :D furries are fan of anthropormorphic animals. Animals with human charactristics like talking, clothes, moveable eyebrows and walking on 2 legs. It’s a fandom. Mainly around dressing up, art, characters etc. Being a therian is about experiencing therianthropy. Which is about identifying as a non-human animal on a non-physical level (so while knowing they’re a human). We feel as if we are an animal. We experience shifts (going from human to animal) or animalisticness. Like an animal mindset, phantom limbs or non-human sensations.

Hey umm,i dunno of you know this but i have a question,i always wear dog collars but last on internet i Saw human collars,i don't know of they are special or something but i was thinking of it isn't better to buy a human collar,at first i was wondering,do you have a human collar or a dog collar from a pet store (like me)? And if you have a human collar,what's special on Them and are they better than dog collars?
Either are fine really. Human collars are not any better than dog collars, they just look less like dog collars usually. Keep in mind that some human collars (if not most) are used in the BDSM community so for fetish/seks/kink reasons. Keep that in mind when buying them and read the description carefully. Otherwise someone may recognize them as a BDSM collar and think you're active in those activities. Some human collars are just 'chockers', which is a emo/punk/gothic like assecoire and has no other meaning than fashion :)
I personally buy dog collars, as I feel better that way. It's less human, Exactly what I look for. As I don't identify (fully) as human.
I buy them in petstores or secondhand stores if clean.
I recommend textile collars or fake leather collars (both for human and dog collars) because real leather gets hard and cracks from water (aka sweat) so they don't last long if you wear them every day (mine lasted 2 years at max)
I am now testing out dog collars who are 'oiled' or 'fattened' leather. This should give them an extra protective coat. And prevent them from cracking that easily from water (aka sweat) (as the oil doesn't let the water through to touch the leather) So I'll see if this one last 2 years or longer. I've had him a few months now.

I have that written down but ain't sure if I will as I do not want to encourage anyone to 'come out' as more often than not it's unneeded and only creates a negative effect. I do have a premade comment I paste on anyone asking me the question 'how' tho. So I can help them all individually.

Chloe :D furries are fan of anthropormorphic animals. Animals with human charactristics like talking, clothes, moveable eyebrows and walking on 2 legs. It’s a fandom. Mainly around dressing up, art, characters etc.
Being a therian is about experiencing therianthropy. Which is about identifying as a non-human animal on a non-physical level (so while knowing they’re a human). We feel as if we are an animal. We experience shifts (going from human to animal) or animalisticness. Like an animal mindset, phantom limbs or non-human sensations.
