I'm a beginner to the point that I'm still trying to choose my first DSLR for photojournalism. I plan on documenting musicians, and I expect a lot of my environments will be low light and have to stay on the fly. As you state, the canon is best to learn on as well as more affordable, however, which cameria (d5300 and t5i) is best in terms of support, warranty and maintenence. Also, lenses for high apeture feel from a distance in low light? 70-400 mm? Prime or telephoto?
I'm looking to buy my first DSLR,and I'm thinking of these two cameras.I will use my DSLR for recording videos and PLEASE tell me which records video better:700D or D5300?Im really confused because i can't decide which one to get?
thanks for the info... i have been using Canon 1100 D for almost 2 years. And now i want to upgrade... Suggest me which one to buy? Nikon D 3200, D 5300, Canon 1300 D, 700 D...
Hi there! Great video. I'm still confused as to which camera I should buy. I am new to photography and want to find that camera that will help me learn the best. I love night, sport and landscape photography. I also plan to do some video as well. Which camera would you recommend for me? Thanks!
im confused between d5300 & 700d. I'm getting d5300 along with 18-55mm lens and 700d with 18-55 and 55-250mm lens, both are availble in same price approximately. So which one should i go for.
You didn't mention the nikon having 39 autofocus point system or it having 24.2MP and in my opinion a touch screen is quite a gimmick, which only a newbie would require as most pros use the button shortcuts. Also the Nikon has a more friendly settings interface, which it has a graphical image showing what happens to your lens when you edit the settings. You seem to have missed out quite a lot of the important information about the Nikon. Finally it's a known fact Nikon cameras always take sharper pictures, i'm sorry if i sound bias but it's just a known fact.
Lobo I totally disagree with you regarding the touch screen although I do respect your opinion as a disabled photographer who has limited use of my left hand I feel that the touch screen is a dream to use and certainly not a gimmick. In my opinion Nikon have overly complicated the controls on their cameras(I used to have a Nikon d7100 myself) and found it a nightmare to use with 1 hand Nikon in my opinion really need to take a leaf out of canons book regarding simplifying button layouts
Hello, I am not sure which of these to choose. I love both, but I would be using more the video setting since I am a film student. Which one would you recommend? I am not more inclined for the canon since it doesnt make the focus noise, but I would like a more professional assistance.. Thank you so much
I have owned a Nikon D3200 and now own a Nikon D5300. I have also used a Canon T5i before for some photoshoots. Both produce outstanding picture quality. The Nikon D5300 has 24MP while the Canon T5i has 18MP. When I used the Canon, the color quality was a tad bit better than the Nikon. But the Nikon definitely had sharper images. The touchscreen on the Canon was useful and great as it is faster to change settings, but I didn't have problems using buttons on the Nikon to change settings. The one feature that I love on the Canon is the live aperture view on live view. Its really up to you what you prefer, a touchscreen or buttons. I think the one thing that made me choose the D5300 was the built in WIFI. You can transfer pics from the Nikon wirelessly to you smartphone or tablet like an iPad or Android device. From there you can easily share them. Both cameras took great video. You really can't go wrong with either. The Canon did have slightly better focusing on video. For those beginning photographers learn about lighting. It's a huge key in photography. Of course, lenses will get great shots, but its really you who can capture them. The Canon is slightly more expensive than the Nikon. So if you're on a budget go with the Nikon as it gives you amazing bang for the buck with a ton of features. My advice would be for those who use DSLR's mostly for videos and great picture quality I would go with the Canon. For those who who want really sharp images and more features, go with the Nikon. If you have questions, just reply ;-)
I am a fashion Blogger and I want to join the TH-cam community I am more confused now I was set on the Nikon but those silent cameras have me rethinking!!!
Its really preference. Canon is a bit more quiet. My advice is you shoot a lot of video, maybe the Canon is the camera for you. The Nikon can hold its own but yes, its a little bit noiser when adjusting the lens during video recording.
+Jon Bee hi there i am newbie at photography ...well its my hobby ..i was doing it with my mobile but now i am thinking to own DSLR on this Christmas . so i had seen videos read reviews but still cant decide what to do..Canon 700d or d5300 . see i have to clear one thing i not need WIFI and GPS facility. i just want one good cam....with better picture quality color etc...plz reply me ASAP thanx
Jon Bee Hi am a beginner photographer. I'd like buy a new dslr. My options are Canon 700D and Nikon D5300. Am confused which one to choose. Am interest in portraits using 50mm 1.8f lenses. Which one do you think will perform better at portraits for sharp images, low light and will be good while editing? Even if am a beginner I do know quite a lot of things about photography. it's just I need implant them on a camera. So which one do you think would suit me?
I am looking for my first DSLR. I have watched your videos on Canon T5i and Nikon D5300. I would like your recommendation. What I am looking for is just good, clear, crisp, focused pictures. I've been frustrated with the quality of point and shoot cameras, obviously. I am looking to photograph just as a hobby and not professionally. I am a teacher by trade and DO NOT have the time between grading papers and lesson plans to take photography any further. There are several deals this weekend. The Canon Rebel T5 with 18-55 and 75-300 lens for $399; Canon T5i coming with 18-55 and 55-250mm for $699; and finally the Nikon D3300 with 18-55 and 55-200 for $499. What would you suggest?
Hi Toby, Thank you for your amazing videos, really like them. I am an amateur who like landscape, portrait, and HDR. Currently I have Canon 1000D with these lenses : 1. Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 2. Canon 50mm f/1.8 3. Canon 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 STM (your recommendation) 4. Canon 55-250mm f/4.5-5.6 STM These lenses are great lenses. Recently I have been thinking to upgrade. Should I upgrade the body : 550D (second hand), 700D, or 7D (second hand)? I like 70D but it is way out of my budget. Or, should I upgrade the lenses? Thank You for your time, hope to hear from you soon.
I want to buy my first DSLR and I'm not sure wich one I should buy. I'm interested to shot in low light environments, including at night, and motor sports. In your opinion, what is the better choice?
Hi. I am looking for a DSLR mostly for filming short things such as commercials, little vlogs, timelapses and such, but I'm on a budget. I am between the d5300 and the 750D. If you have any other suggestion, I'm all ears. The canon has the touchscreen and better auto-focus while filming which i consider ideal and the nikon doesn't let me change aperture while live-viewing. However, i have many lenses for nikon (old, not sure if still suitable, i even have a 50-500mm Sigma). I need this camera to last a very long time. I will be filming in the city. Please give me a quick reply since both models are on sale. Thanks!
Im looking to get into car photography mainly which camera (t3i or d5300) would be the best bang for the buck and what lens should I go with? Thanks for the help
I am leaning toward the Canon t5i but would like your opinion between the t5i or the D5300 for use in a harsh environment. Specifically off road race photography in high wind, dusty, and maybe even some rain or snow conditions. Any recommendation on protecting a camera in these conditions?
Hey Toby, I am starting up my TH-cam channel and I am currently using a canon t3i with and 18-200mm lens. My dad is getting fed up with me for using his camera all the time. I was ordering witch one I should get. I am currently thinking more to the Nikon for the auto mode. I like to do some light photography and video production. Please help me choose. Thanks.
Hi Toby! I am starting filmmaking and I want a DSLR. I have been doing a whole lot of research on what camera I should choose. What do you think is better for filmmaking? I will be making all kind of movies, so there is no "genre" specific I will focus on. Thank you!
hi, i want to buy a new dslr. what would you recommend between canon 700d and nikon d5300? it will be my first dslr and i want the cam to have great image quality and also good for videos. what do u think is the overall better dslr between the two?
hi I'm a starter and I'm pretty much confused which to buy. really confused between 700d and 750d. Also which lens should i go for? I'm mainly like outdoor photography.. pls suggest me one.. Also which lens should i go for one with stm lens or the IS 2 lens?
Im a still life painter and use live view for composing photos for reference material for my work and need big depth of field. No bokeh. Am using a Canon a650 is without any DOF problems. From about 4-6 feet away I need about 30 Inches DOF. Am I asking too much from either of these cameras because the larger sensor size will make getting this amount of DOF difficult? I was leaning toward Nikon mainly due to quality specs, but after your comparison think the ease of the Canon touch display may be better suited to my needs. Advice?
I have a Canon T1i but it is having mechanical problems now. I am debating to buy a newer camera than spending on fixing my T1i. I am leaning towards switching to Nikon D5300 or D5200. I am not a beginner and familiar with Manual mode shooting and want to jump into intermediate level. Do you suggest the T5i or T4i or move to Nikon?
Hi I'm still unsure where to go for the Nikon d5300 or the canon t5i (700d). I would be using the camera for some amateur astrophotography so in low light conditions and also for travelling as well. What would you recommend?
Hey I was still wonder exactly which camera to get. The main purpose I want one of these cameras is to shoot short films. Overall which do you think in your opinion should I get?
I'm a amateur photographer, want to learn photography. Which would u recommend me? Also I read somewhere, the dynamic range in d5300 is better than the 700d which results in clear landscape photos, the shadow parts are better illuminated. The HDR mode is also better in d5300. With canon t5i, one can do nature photography?
I am interested in either the Nikon D5300 or the Canon T5I. I will be using it both for band pictures and music videos. Which one would be the better one for my needs? Any opinions?
I'm deciding between a t5i and Nikon 5300 for filming and they're both about the same price at the place where I wanna buy them (used), which one do you highly recommend and why? I just know a lot of amateur filmmakers who use t5i and love it but I heard that 5300 is better... Help! Thank you!
Hi all. I am looking at both these cameras and debating over which one I should get. I am going to be taking lot of indoor and outdoor photos and shooting videos here and there. I like the D5300 because of the Wi Fi, sensor, how I can use my phone with it, and how it feels in my hands. I like the T5i because of the touch screen, ease of use, dedicated ISO button among others. What should I get? Thanks for your input
Hi Toby, I am a beginner. But looking for Mid range cameras. I want to choose between Nikon D5300 & Canon 700D. Which one should i buy? Mostly i will use it for outdoor ,landscape(nature),Wedding, and low light purpose. I want to know the difference between 39 AF points and Cross focus points .Which one is better cross one or regular auto focus? Which one is best in order to upgrade the lenses?? i have also heard any other brand lenses can be fit with Nikon. I have taken live trials on both cameras but still it is confusing. please help me to choose best one out of these...
I recently lost my Panasonic Lumix FZ200 bridge camera and want to either replace it or step up to a better option with more lens choices. I'm looking at the Canon T5i because of the touch screen. Would you recommend a replacement or the step-up Canon? I'm a casual photographer interested in taking good travel shots and videos.
Hi. Thank you for your video. I am an amateur looking at the D5300 and the t5i. I would be using it for photoshoots and for filming. I'm not sure, at this point in time, if I should be concern about the image quality as compared to the user friendliness off the camera. Nikon as you mentioned, as a better picture quality but it is not as user friendly as the Cannon. Also, is the weight of each DSLR about the same? Thank you!
PhotoRec Toby Thanks for the amazing video. I m a beginner and wants to learn photography in depth, from Nikon d5300 and Canon 700d which one will you suggest. If canon then should i buy STM lens or IS lens and save few bucks??? Really need your advice. Thank you.
Hi Toby I am travel photographer and do photography only when I am on holidays. I used to have the earlier Canon SLRs with 2-3 lenses (which I have sold) but after the advent of the digital cameras I bought the semi professional Canon digital cameras the last I used was The Canon SX 40 HS. Now I want to buy a DSLR. My knowledge of photography is much above a lay man. I am all confused what should I buy Canon 700D or 70D or Nikon D5300. When you say the image quality is better in D5300 is it a marginal difference or a big difference. But in the same length you say that the kit lens is better with 700D. Again the prime lens of 35mm is better with Nikon. But the 700D is user friendly. My inclination is towards the Canon but at the moment I have no investments in any lenses so I would go by your advise. Also I am assuming the 70D will win hands down. And my last question. The mirrorless camera are touted to be the future cameras. Should I invest in a mirrorless camera and if yes than which one or should I stick to the old faithfuls.
Hey Toby. What's up? I just saw the Nikon D5300 vs the Canon T5i video on your channel. I'm currently in the market for a good SLR camera. So a lil' about myself: My previous camera was a bridge camera (Panasonic Lumix FZ150) and I used that for about 2 years. Now I believe I'm ready for a bigger camera... A good SLR to start off with. I use my camera mainly for taking portraits but I also shoot a lot of landscape and close ups and eventually some sport pics. I'm also interested in timelapse videos and I really want to make one of my own some day (they're awesome!) I'm really having trouble finding a good entry level SLR that'll fit my needs. I don't know if I should buy the D5300 or the T5i. Do you think you can help me out a bit? What do you recommend?
Hello, I'm planning to buy my first dslr and I'm into making short films. I'm leaning towards Nikon D5300 because it has 1080p 60fps which is good for slow motion video and fully articulated screen. Is Nikon D5300 a good camera for a first timer like me? Thanks in advance.
+MarkAndApps It'd be fine for a short, and you're right about the 60fps - that is a huge feature that puts it above the rebel series in my opinion. I've shot on both for professional use for video, and they both fall flat in an outdoor environment or anything with a high dynamic range. Nikon lenses seem to be a little more reasonably priced as well. Both Canon and Nikon aren't really making much headway in the past 3 years interns of DSLR film making. I think Sony and Panasonic have sort of cornered that market with the GH4 and the A7s. With that, if I we're in your shoes, buy whatever one is cheaper and invest in a couple quality lenses, they'll depreciate much slower and stay relevant a lot longer.
+MarkAndApps I have, it is a great piece of gear to have if you are going narrative work in a controlled atmosphere but can fall short in run and gun situations due to a lack of functionality and buttons! The cameras dynamic range is well ahead of the GH4 but doesn't shoot 4k, have slo-mo and just does't have the greatest design for working quickly. If you are looking for a narrative camera, the BMPCC is your best bet for your budget.
I shoot and record, I am a all round photographer but love night, sport and wedding photography. I am trying to make a decision on these two cameras in the video above can you help out ? Thanks
Hi am a beginner photographer.
Hi, I want to get either the Canon or the Nikon as an all-round camera to use, be it on holiday, out on the streets or in a nature park. I had been looking at the Canon with the 18-55mm kit lens, and possibly getting a 50mm f1.8 II lens with it, but now I've seen the Nikon I'm tempted by that. The lack of a touch screen is a bit of a con, but the higher fps rate and better image quality is interesting. Which would you recommend, and does Nikon have an equivalent to the 50mm at a similar price point?
Is it worth upgrading to t6i from t5i? I am a beginner and I travel a lot and I want to take stills in nature I love the quality of 5D mark iii Which do you think produces a better photos 700D or d5300? ( and photos of street lights at night)
Hi! i can't decide... i want a camara thats good for photos and video (maybe more for photos), it's for work and i work with technology... wich of this two would you recomend?
I'm looking for one of these cameras to film and take pictures when I'm hunting. I want good zoom and one that will work well in low light. What do you think would work better for me?
hi,i am planning to buy a DSLR, but i am confused which one should i buy Nikon d5300 or canon 700 d. i don't have any idea about it so, i would be grateful to get a suggestion from you. thanks
I am a beginner and i like to take landscape photography and potrait but i cant effort to buy a new lens which one should i buy. With the original format of the camera CANON 700d or NIKON d5300
Great video.. I can't maybe you can help me..I will specifically be using the camera for real estate photography...I'm thinking I need wide lens and something that is bright even with low light. Leaning toward canon what lens would you reccomend
For normal everyday usage and automotive photography, which one should I go for as a beginner? Are both the camera's image quality nearly the same because all that I want is a camera with better image quality and better focusing?
hey. I'm not sure which one to go with. will be my first dslr. just for landscape, portrait and traveling. maybe some try some artsy things too. which one? help!
Hi, i want to buy one of this, maybe the D5300 or the D5500 with the 18-140mm or the 700d with a 18-135mm. I want to film and take pictures of outdoor sports with fast speed and slow motion is needed. Do you recommend me to buy the D5500 rather the 700d although the auto focus of the nikon is noisy? Thanks very much!
Hello :) I have one question about D5300.. Can you change settings (iso, aperture and shutter speed) while filming and also would you see changes on the LCD? I can't find this explained anywhere... so I'm kinda leaning towards Canon 700D (T5i)
Hi Toby... Although I am a beginner right now, I definitely want a camera I can grow with. When you say Nikon is better image quality. How noticeable is the difference? For example, if I bought the Canon to do landscapes, will I end up regretting it when considering the Nikon's better image quality?
Hi, I'm looking to photograph birds and rabbits (wildlife) and would like to know which camera you feel would be best. I heard the AF points were important for moving subjects though I'm not sure how much so, Thanks,
Hi, I am still confused on what camera to buy. I want it to be good for filming but also good for photos. Specifically filming skiing and shooting skiing shots
Hello Toby, I am wondering which camera shoots better video and has a better stabilization? I am going to shoot sporty videos that requires some running & jumping(also photos), and instructional videos. I will be making a DIY "stable cam" for that. Looking for a cheap DSLR, perhaps the Canon 700D. I look forward for your advice. Thanks
Hi I'm looking to buy a DSLR to record some professional music videos, and I've ended up choosing between these 2 camers. Canon is a tiny bit better in quality to me but Nikon has 60fps recording which is a big yes for music recording. So which one would you recommend for me? (you're welcome to recommend better ones obviously) And which nikkon lens should I get for recording? thanks very much
Hello!I want to use my camera for filming as well as shooting good quality images.Which one should I buy and I'm an amateur.I will be very happy if you answer me because I'm really confused right know even though I watched all your videos because I don't really have that much knowledge about cameras.Thank you!
Hey toby I'm a beginner. I'm planning to buy a dslr but I'm confused which is better to me Nikon d5300 or Canon t5i(700d). Would suggest me a camera plz!!!.
Excellent review and really helpful. I am looking a user friendly first time SLR to take traveling with me for 6 months around south and Central America. Size and weight are the reasons I have short listed to these two - still slightly confused but swaying towards the canon. What would you advise?
Hello, thanks for the video and I really need help over here, I want to get a camera because I want to learn how to take a really nice pictures and I don't know which one to get between nikon d5300, canon 70d or canon t5i? i hope you can help me or another suggestion
Toby, I am just getting into photography but am planning on getting very serious about it. I am even considering majoring or minoring in it in college. I am looking at these two cameras to start me out. With them I am going to try and get nicer lenses so when I upgrade bodies I can keep the lenses and use them. I don't do any video at all. I will be editing photos on photo shop as well. I really like landscape and portrait photography but I would also like a camera that has action and other capabilities. Once I get Canon or Nikon I will most likely stick with one for a long time. What would your recommendation be?
Hello, I am considering purchasing a professional camera, and I don't know which one to choose. I am hearing that nikon is more user friendly than cannon, but cannon is the overall better purchase. I don't know anything about photography as of yet, but I do want to purchase on here soon, this month. I am looking at these models because once I am familiar and comfortable with my new hobby, I don't want to feel as if I have out grown my camera so to speak. Any advice?
So I want to get more into urban photography including exteriors and interiors. I am into documenting old, abandoned structures and I am trying to figure out which DSLR to get? Would you have any recommendations?
great video I've got the d5300 and 16. 300 lens great camera and lens I've got into wild life photographer the 300 mm lens is great but I want to get closer . I am thinking of the tamron 150 600 lens but will the d5300 work with the lens or will I have to up grade my camera .
Hi, Toby. Thank you for your review. I sold my Canon T2i and planned to buy Canon 70D, but price seems to high comparing with these 2 reviewed cameras in your video. My main concern is good picture quality and I may use quality video recording with post-editing as well from time to time for creating short movies. I just wanted to try Nikon, but in future I think will move back to full frame Canon if I can... I considered to try Nikon D5300 now, but the thing is that I still own Canon 50mm 1.8 II lens. I had thought to sell this lens as well and try Nikon (18-55mm), or buy Canon T5i (18-55mm or 18-135mm) and use it together with already owned lens. Is the difference in picture quality so dramatic that it is better to choose Nikon D5300 in this case?
Hi, I am going to buy my first DSLR and shortlisted the 700d and d5300.I basically need them for photography and as a beginner don't have much knowledge so will learn after I get one.please help me to choose the best from these two camera's. If it's d5300 I will hv to get the 18-55mm lens as I got a budget.
CameraRec Toby Hi, Im looking to buy a Digital camera for some landscape picture. I will also take rivers and other wild things. Wich camera do you suggest to me under 1000$?? I was looking for the Nikon D5300 and the Canon T5i, which one is better for me?? Thank you!
I was going to say both but you have to choose one lol. They are both awesome cameras the Canon T5i is great at photo with natural vivid colors and also high quality videos. But the Nikon 5300 is ultimate machine you will get the best image quality with sharper image and contrast, but you can also edit them in Lightroom software. For the video performance, I will say the Nikon especially at low light with less noise.
Which of the two would you recommend for someone who will be using it outdoors more than indoors for example shooting scenery or urban settings, I'd mostly be using the camera for video. I know very little about photography/videography and I can't decide which of the two cameras would be best for me
I'm a beginner to the point that I'm still trying to choose my first DSLR for photojournalism.
I'm into food photography, what kind of camera do you suggest? I'm a beginner btw!
I'm looking to buy my first DSLR,and I'm thinking of these two cameras.I will use my DSLR for recording videos and PLEASE tell me which records video better:700D or D5300?Im really confused because i can't decide which one to get?
Diamant Belallari If you want easy video the 700D - the STM lenses provided smooth and silent autofocus. The D5300 does not offer that.
Any Sony mirrorless like the a5000 or a6000
which one is better for videos?
Hi toby! If you can only choose one either Canon or Nikon which one will you choose?
which is better for model photography canon 700d or nikon d5300 please suggest me.
Hi, I want a camera mainly for filming, Which one should I get? canon 700d, nikon d5200 or d5300?
Will you be releasing a video comparing the Nikon D5500 and the Canon T6i/T6s?
thanks for the info...
i have been using Canon 1100 D for almost 2 years. And now i want to upgrade... Suggest me which one to buy?
Nikon D 3200, D 5300, Canon 1300 D, 700 D...
Nice information. I am at any entry level DSLR enthusiastic , will wifi & gprs makes any difference . Which one should I buy ? Thanks.
Hi! I still dont know what to choose :) What you suggest me for Landscapes and street photography and sometimes portraits? D5300 or T5i?
Hi there! Great video.
I'm still confused as to which camera I should buy. I am new to photography and want to find that camera that will help me learn the best. I love night, sport and landscape photography. I also plan to do some video as well. Which camera would you recommend for me? Thanks!
Hello !
I have already bought 700D, should i switch to D5300? Will I be able to see much difference in day light and especially low light images ?
Hi , I am a beginner and really not into photography much , so could you suggest me which one to choose from .
d5300 or 700d which one I should buy?
im confused between d5300 & 700d. I'm getting d5300 along with 18-55mm lens and 700d with 18-55 and 55-250mm lens, both are availble in same price approximately. So which one should i go for.
+Bibhuti Krishna which one you bought ?
You should get the 700D!
I'm confused between them too.
+sharan chenna get the 700D mate
hey, which one is best for video?
which one of these is a best option for a beginner.
Lobo he has mentioned that this review isn't an in-depth video.
Okay, if I'm going to be going to be using either one for amateur TH-cam videography and some photography, which one should I choose?
Hello, I am not sure which of these to choose. I love both, but I would be using more the video setting since I am a film student. Which one would you recommend? I am not more inclined for the canon since it doesnt make the focus noise, but I would like a more professional assistance.. Thank you so much
Hi! I'm mainly focusing on videography, but the quality of photos will matter to me as a hobbyist. Which camera will work great in both fields?

Jon Bee so.. which should buy? (beginner)
Hi Toby,
Thank you for your amazing videos, really like them.
I am an amateur who like landscape, portrait, and HDR.
Currently I have Canon 1000D with these lenses :
1. Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8
2. Canon 50mm f/1.8
3. Canon 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 STM (your recommendation)
4. Canon 55-250mm f/4.5-5.6 STM
These lenses are great lenses.
Friday On Elm Street Do you want autofocus while you film? get T5i. Otherwise get the D5300.
I'm a starter and pretty much confused as to what to buy... I'm more into movie and video making..Which one would suit me the best among these 2?
700D
PiBiNi agreed the t5i aka 700D
which one would be better for strictly videos in low light as well ? t5i or nikon d5300
Which one has the best kit lens, the nikon D5300 or canon eos 700d?
Thank you!
priscateng They weight almost the same. the D5300 is a little lighter and smaller.
PhotoRec Toby Thanks for the amazing video. I m a beginner and wants to learn photography in depth, from Nikon d5300 and Canon 700d which one will you suggest. If canon then should i buy STM lens or IS lens and save few bucks??? Really need your advice. Thank you.
Hi Toby,
What camera are you using to create this video? Any particular setting or setup that you do to make this video happen?
6:57 I turned because I thought my cat was meowing
Sonicfox44 My cats so helpful make cameos in several videos :/
Sonicfox44 YEP (I even read your comment first..but maybe forgot and still looked back)
Hey Toby.
+Christian Cantarutti thank you. GH4 and A7s is way past my budget. Anyway, have you tried blackmagic pocket cinema camera?
Thanks
which one should i buy help

Nikon D5300.
Hi,
I want to get either the Canon or the Nikon as an all-round camera to use, be it on holiday, out on the streets or in a nature park.
I am a beginner and I travel a lot and I want to take stills in nature I love the quality of 5D mark iii
Which do you think produces a better photos 700D or d5300?
With the original format of the camera
CANON 700d or NIKON d5300
Great video.. I can't maybe you can help me..I will specifically be using the camera for real estate photography...I'm thinking I need wide lens and something that is bright even with low light. Leaning toward canon what lens would you reccomend
For a begginer with the Nikon 5300 should i get zoom lens or simply get prime later?
For normal everyday usage and automotive photography, which one should I go for as a beginner? Are both the camera's image quality nearly the same because all that I want is a camera with better image quality and better focusing?
I'm a beginner. Im mostly into outdoor photography. hat should be the best mid budget dslr i should go for ?
Thanks very much!
hi i want to buy my first DSLR,but i am confused between nikkon d5300,canon 700d,and sony alpha 58a . So can u tell me which one is the best for me.
Please suggest Nikon D5300 or Canon 60D for landscape, macro. Not for videography.
hi. Am Planing out to buy a dslr, which camera I can buy and its worth?
Hello :) I have one question about D5300.. Can you change settings (iso, aperture and shutter speed) while filming and also would you see changes on the LCD? I can't find this explained anywhere... so I'm kinda leaning towards Canon 700D (T5i)
Hi Toby... Although I am a beginner right now, I definitely want a camera I can grow with. When you say Nikon is better image quality. How noticeable is the difference? For example, if I bought the Canon to do landscapes, will I end up regretting it when considering the Nikon's better image quality?
Hello I want a camera for mostly taking photos so which one should i buy
Nikon d5300
Canon 700d
Which camera is better for outdoor/nature photography?
Hi, I'm looking to photograph birds and rabbits (wildlife) and would like to know which camera you feel would be best. I heard the AF points were important for moving subjects though I'm not sure how much so,
Thanks,
which one should i buy if i am a beginner the nikon or canon?
Hi, I am still confused on what camera to buy.
I want it to be good for filming but also good for photos. Specifically filming skiing and shooting skiing shots
hi toby, which one of these camera is better for short films
+karna pratap singh The canon is easier to work with for video.
Thanks
Also, I have held a Canon SL1 before and found I preferred the larger size of the T5i, so how does the D5300 compare size wise? Thanks
which is the best dslr to pick under 50k.with additional lens
Please advice, initially i have to buy D5300 or EOS700D for normal photographs with which lens i should buy either with 18-50mm or 18-135mm. thanks

I can't find a good review of nikon d300s. Can you recommend me which is better camera D300s or D5300?
Hi,
I am buying an entry level camera and am very confused over two models. Canon 700d or Sony a58. Please suggest. Pick one for me.
700d
Hello,
I am considering purchasing a professional camera, and I don't know which one to choose.
Would you have any recommendations?
i want to start photography and also I am studying photography which camera should I buy d5300 or 700d
great video I've got the d5300 and 16. 300 lens great camera and lens I've got into wild life photographer the 300 mm lens is great but I want to get closer .
TeK RaVeN Thanks for your suggestion! I bought the Nikon D5300 today and Im very happy!
Will Fournier what is your opinion about this camera ?
is it good for TH-cam videos ?
Which of the two would you recommend for someone who will be using it outdoors more than indoors for example shooting scenery or urban settings, I'd mostly be using the camera for video. I know very little about photography/videography and I can't decide which of the two cameras would be best for me
