Hostas need almost full shade (no direct sun) as far as I know… ?

@@krsncrs821 Good to know, may need to add shade then. They will get sun in the late afternoon to evening. the sun rises behind the house so most of the day they will be good.

I looked it up, they are shade-tolerant and can tolerate part shade.
