TH-cam plays tricks on me and shows me this video onky now. Months too late 😭 I started growing my own hostats last year. Cross- pollinated, harvested and germinated this past spring. I managed to get a couple of sports so this might get intresting in the future. Great video!
thank you for the sharing of these interesting information.I have just one question. You sad that the seeds need a 60 degres fahrenheit to get germinated , it means 15 degres celcius , is that right?
Is it wrong to put them in the fridge for longer, few months period? I bought seeds last year and I keep them in the fridge from September. I would like to terminate them soon.
I had no idea it was so easy to start hostas. Thank you for this! Now I have to go out and check my hostas for seeds 😁
You're welcome! It's very easy.
Love the video
Awesomeness
Once harvest, can you save them for spring starting
Thanks for sharing! Any chance of an update?

Longer is just fine. You should be good 👍
So, they don't need stratification though, right?
No they don't but it may help germination a little. Definitely isn't required.
@@Growingthehomegarden thanks!!!! I'm growing my first seedlings (MOTHER NATURE WILLING) ATM.

Thanks! Have you tried sowing them outdoors? Like autumn sowing or winter sowing? If you have- how did it go?
😊🪴
