    My daughter, Shoshanna, was so happy when Girls came out, because people stopped asking her if I'd made up her name. She was not best pleased by how ditzy the character was though.

    I was introduced to David Mamet in one of my acting classes. It was just 2 guys yelling FU at each other for 20 minutes. Thats a David Mamet play.

    • @ericminch
      @ericminch 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, but the sheer art required to make the delivery of each one of those lines totally unique for 20 minutes...genius!

    She’s like a parallel universe “Allison Williams” but talented enough to not rely on nepotism to get work.

    • @JKReAl
      @JKReAl 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      She’s totally the opposite of that, AW is talented and his dad is in news not really an advantage, unlike Zosia talented but who relied on both her show business parents to get acting work, totally an example of nepotism

    • @sugardaddy4714
      @sugardaddy4714 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It can still be nepotism even if you have talent. No way being David Mamet's daughter didn't open doors, even if the person didn't actively sought it. Even Mozart was a product of nepotism, at first.

    • @JKReAl
      @JKReAl 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They’re talented, very much so, but to bash Williams using Mamet is clearly a dumb thing to do. Being the children of someone is not a sin, you’re a Di Pietrantonio, that would be worrisome for many, so chill

    • @HighHeelKnight
      @HighHeelKnight 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ericminch Wow! That is so incredibly dismissive and judgmental that I don't know where to begin. I'm a heterosexual male that's loved high heels since he was a toddler and has been collecting and wearing them since his late-teens. There's no telling what you think my personality "screams." LOL
      If you have the opportunity, then I recommend you try a few power pumps for yourself. See how your levels of self-confidence are affected. If you are a male, then the general rule is your women's size is two digits up from your men's size. If you are a 11 male, then you are likely a 13 female. You don't have to walk a mile in such shoes, but as the saying goes, "Don't knock them until you try them."

      Just curious, how do you pronounce it? Is it Polish? Seth sounds like he's sayin "Sasha". It looks so pretty written down but I had never heard it before until Zosia Mamet became popular and wouldn't know how to pronounce it.
