Here's Jennifer Kim playing ‘Scherzo Vals’ by Miguel Llobet on a beautiful "Tablao" classical guitar model built by Jose Ramirez in 2018. This guitar features a Spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. Recorded at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.

She has developed this piece so beautifully. I heard her play for Angel Romero and it helped so much in addition to much practice and development of her musicality. She is just a wonderful musician .

Fernando Sor's etudes, Leo Brouwer's Estudios Sencillos (the first 10) and Pumping Nylon
I am working my way through the Frederick Harris Guitar Repitoire & Studies/Etudes 1-10. They're used by the Royal Conservatory of Music amongst others and are graduated from elementary to rather difficult. I like the fingering advice they provide and they're pretty musical. I buy em used off amazon.
Oh and keep in mind there are several editions. I don't worry too much about which ones. If a 3rd edition is cheaper, I get that one.
My husband has always advised Aaron Shearer volumes for really understanding classical guitar playing

beautiful playing, I love it, strong and precise and expressive at the same time, the guitar sounds pretty good except maybe the action is too low or too soft strings? it's a funny looking guitar as well, looks like a guitar drawn for an animated cartoon hehehe

The problem with ostentatious, flamboyant, OVERSIZED rosettes, is that they're distracting. They tend to deflect attention away from the performance, away from the music. Ramirez had it right for so many years. Now look...
She plays like a robot. Technical perfection yet lacking in Human emotions.

She has always had that expression even though her playing of this piece is technically different from when I heard it the first time. She does look robotic. I hope she outgrows it .
