  • Just to show how to get the lap timer to show on the dash as you see on my videos.
Please note that you do need to load the GPS coordinates for the start finish line of the track.

Thank you for the video, I installed the CCU into my 2020 R1, loaded everything up, went to the track and it's all working on the tablet, but nothing changing on the instrument display. Now I have to wait about 5 or 6 month for the next track day here to test it out. LOL

Can you show the start-stop of the lap timer? I noticed recently high lights have to be off for the timer to work.
Also how do you restart average and best lap timer? I tried long pressing the wheel when they were flashing but no result

We have the data logger in our 2019 r1m. I am trying to get it to capture my husbands lap times at the track. He has set the pins and uploaded it to the bike. It is reading his session out as one lap instead of grabbing the separate lap times. Can you possibly advise on how to fix this? Thanks so much!

Help? I'm about to do my first track day in my 2023 MT-09-SP I suspect its the same technology and software as the R-1. I'm trying to figure out if I can scroll back through all of the lap times that I might log in a 10 lap session , before shutting down the bike , or if I have to take note of those times while I'm riding and before I log the next one. The owners manual does not go into detail and I can't seem to figure out how to scroll back through all of the lap times but rather can only see the prior lap while on the current lap. This will be distracting while riding if I want to know what my actual times are. Surely there must be a temporary memory of all of the the laps in a session? Help?

If it has the data logger like the R1M then you view or download it thru the Yamaha app. But if it's not in the manual, I'm doubtful that it has such features.
I would suggest you have a camera mounted as well. So you record your first outing and can also see the lap times.
If it's your first track day. I wouldn't suggest focusing on track times. Rather, you should focus on learning the track and how your bike performs at speed.
      Have fun!
Don't try to chase anyone, have fun!

Does the data logger have to be on to make it work? I'm doing everything you've shown and it won't start. It will only start if the timer is already set and then I start the bike. The timer will just run. When I squeeze the lap button It doesn't go to the next lap.

You need to load the map into the bike to capture laptimes. You don't need to press the lap timer button at all.
And this is for R1M which has the CCU / Data logger.

How do adjust the lap timer for different tracks on R1 2022 ? Do I need to get the GPS tracker or ?

    • @cheong1106
      @cheong1106  ปีที่แล้ว +1

you need to go to set the start line for that track in the app. basically load the Yamaha app, then when you are at the track, you need to set the GPS coordinates for the start/finish line.
and yes, your bike must have the GPS receiver so that it knows where you are on the track. the R1M comes with it, if its just the regular R1, then you need to purchase the extra add on

create a video with starting from zero.
You are a new track, never had it set in CCU / App.
Start to set it as start /finish line, then upload to CCU, then activate the auto lap timing and so on.

so the bike will communicate with track timing system whenever you pass the line, that it will reset and start with next lap?

hadouken you will need to use the tablet app to set the GPS start line. Then load it to the bike. Then once you start the timer it's all automatic.
