Strength mods on Khora increase the healing from Venari, I don’t use Venari to deal damage to enemies, I keep it on healing and I use ensnare and combo it with my lenz for satisfying results
I still think her 1 and 2 should be mushed up into a single "dual" ability (like Gara's 1), Venari gets to be her 2, her Strangledome her 3, and the exalted whip DE promised us her 4. Boom: Khora is now fixed and amazing. I'm not going to be happy until I see Khora doing Ivy Valentine-style combo attacks with a super whip.
Combo attacks? Really? Why not have Khora's whip go through objects to strike at the enemy just like the Ivy's whip goes down through the floor and back up at the enemy. lol :)
And these days after some adjustments she is fantastic! Also I just put the health-steal on Venari so it heals me when it attacks (and the reverse one so 1 hit with my melee heals the cat for 2k hp lol)
Khora abilities as of 230418: 1. Broken Zipline. 2. Sub standard Vortex clone 3. A magic cat. 4. A knock off Snow Globe. Not what we were expecting. Maybe time and a shit ton of hotfixes will help. Until then Mastery Fodder.
her 1 should function like Oberons 1 in that it can only be cast with an enemy in your crosshairs and a guaranteed hit when cast. her 1 could also increase the vacuum range of her 2 when cast on an enemy affected by her 2 instead of ending her 2. or at the very least the enemies drawn in by 2 should be caught in the 2 for the entire duration of the 2 (at present drawn in enemies are only affected for half of the skills duration).
Hey Trib, There is something important to note about the companion mods. They follow the same order as elemental damage mods with priority so if you have an ability mod before other it will take priority of that specific action... learned that the hard way after my pets let me die multiple times. lol
khora is realy fun but needs a bit of tweeking on some abilities,as for vinari heal is perfect how it is becouse you can use overextended and have negative power strength and as no negative efect on the heal,i use overextended and streach 235 range the dome grabs enemys from 23 meters away even behind walls so is great cc,i dont use warframe forums much but i think a augment for khora first abilitie that does a aoe explosion and have some range can improve khora kit,forget about exalted wip it can never be as good or efective as a wip using meme strike blood rush

He was probably talking about the extra damage you get when combining her 1st and 2nd abilities, which isn't included in that little bit of information displayed on the stats screen.
If they can fix Venari's AI issues in regards to his pathing and other AI interation it could open up a whole new venue for pets in the future. This could include specters and other NPC characters in the game. So weither you as an individual like Kora or not it's no doubt a big opportunity for DE to move forward into making this game better.
Eh i dont mind if it has no effect with mods from cats im in to this frame becuse i can keep my sentinel (which i might add is really solid utility does not us weapon why to keep it from pulling agro )
